While several Virginia Tech players have announced their intentions to enter the 2022 NFL Draft, offensive lineman Silas Dzansi remained quiet on his decision as the holiday season came and went.
That changed on Tuesday night when Dzansi posted a famous speech from Wolf of Wallstreet on his Instagram story.

That's awesome news!
Immediate help for next season is nice. Means we can put one of the transfer portal schollies to a different position of need.
Alright, alright, alright.
Big piece of the puzzle. Glad to have you back, Silas.
Will legitimately get the best coaching he's had in a while next year
Could vault his draft stock.
I was wondering if this would be a 'Rudolph effect' decision.
At least we have someone to guide our sleigh π· next year
Glad to have him! Have guys gotten draft grades back? I hope he can work his way into a first or second round spot.
So from left to right, my thoughts are:
Clements, Hanson, Goodner, Moore, Dzansi.
Believe we got a kid out of the portal who could be a swing tackle (can't remember his name), and we certainly have no shortage of young bodies on the OL. For folks wanting a quick turn around, a solid OL is the best non-qb way to accomplish that.
Grab another lineman or two out of the portal and the floor is raised quite a bit
Bob Schick is the transfer
Bob Schick? He sounds like he's already an NFL coach from the 80's. π
Weren't they talking about Jack Hollifield a bit at C? He might slot in over Goodner, but not sure exactly.
The transfer from Cornell would be a great start.
I figured Hanson would be up next at C, since he has reps there already, and it's easier to plug someone in at Guard than at Center.
to be fair, I have no real info or opinion on most of our young/backup OL to draw on
Think you are right about that. Goodner is pretty athletic and seems to have a bit of a nasty streak. I would not mind seeing him at LG if Hanson is working at center. I think that actually makes more sense.
I am very excited to have Dzansi back. He will be an important part of next years line. Also, WoW is a great film.

Hell yes
Woo! VT2VT!
I don't think there's a single thing that could happen this offseason (barring a ridiculous transfer QB like Williams or Ward) that would have helped the 2022 team more. There is a serious lack of experience on the OL with Tenuta-Smith-Hoffman leaving, Clements and Moore are ready but there wasn't really anyone else on the roster ready to step up yet. We were gonna need 2 starting OL out of the portal just to avoid the unit being a disaster but with Dzansi, whether he's playing guard or tackle, we probably only need one (2 still wouldn't hurt).
I guess this makes it a little more official?
I hope he plays better than he did against Maryland. If the new scheme ends up being what it is rumored to be, the change will benefit him.
