This coming Friday is the big ACC duel with NC State at 7 pm on ACCN.
This is the measuring stick match with the rest the ACC has been lately, hopefully the guys are on their game.
I appreciate your updates on the wrestling.
This was the first match I attended at Moss Arts Center. It is a very cool and unique venue for wrestling.
The boys looked good. Bud Foster attended, and had a blast. Quite a few fans made the match, and then attended the ND basketball game. Fun VT weekend overall.
Credit to GMU, they are certainly building a program. Surprised they are in the MAC instead of the ACC, but I don't think ACC does single sport schools.
I think at some point they'll allow schools in the acc for wrestling only. The acc need some more competition anyway. Add Army Navy WVU and Lehigh. That'll make it more fun imo
Naw, ACC is all or nothing. Except for Northwest Indiana Golden University.
You think Lehigh would leave the EIWA? I think the ACC is more likely to grab a team like Campbell. Army and Navy would definitely be top choices and WVU would be a good add for wrestling too. It's a good time for it with Pitt and UNC on the rise. The conference would benefit from more nationally ranked wrestlers especially since Duke and UVA don't offer much.
