Just got home from visiting kids to tune in. Down 3 in the third. Big game. Love to pull this one out.
Been watching for 5 minutes and saw the refs make 3 questionable calls for NCsux. At home. And there is another one.

For those of you not watching, the biggest bunch of BS I've seen in quite some time... This is in reference to the horrid officiating.
I have noticed that Blond official hates us. She has refereed several games and call BS fouls and turnovers on us a LOT. Every game the officials have to argue with her on at least 3 fouls that she calls.
She gave NC State at least 5 points during the game. Including calling shooting fouls on us, when NC State was dribbling the ball around the edge.

Took goACC refs for the #3 team in country to beat us both times. I like this team. I think we have a good chance of getting revenge in one of the tourneys. Be great to face them again in the ACC semi's. I think we have about the same chance as making the final four as only winning twice in the dance.
I'm unsure how the refs were bias when VT had more free throws. Additionally, VTs last possession on D, Kitley could've fouled out. You can complain all you want about bad officiating, but it just didn't benefit State in this game. Sometimes you just get beat. VT threw a haymaker of a game and came up short

We got more free throws because we drove to the hoop, when State took jumpers. Then the refs stopped calling fouls and let them play. Most of the game was reasonably called, but two State runs were fueled by the refs making several questionable calls in a row. I am biased, but that 6 point swing fueled by the refs makes a big difference in a close game.
What game were you watching, I was at the game. I was afraid we were going to get a technical because the fans (students mainly) were cussing the refs so badly. They have massive bad calls again and again that gave NC State at least 5 points through turnovers and calling bogus fouls. Through the first three quarters every foul for NC State was a shooting foul even when it wasn't.

I love our womens hoops team. They are really, really good. They play hard and have a ton of talent. The issue is that NC State is a final four type team. When we did get a couple consecutive stops in the 4Q, we couldn't get over the hump. NC State is a 1 seed. No shame in losing to them. I hope we can get to the Semi's in Gboro
Which is why I am 100% cool with the play at the end going for the W instead of the tie. You don't want to have to stay with them in OT
