The thing that's actually the most surprising is the general lack of composure of this team for most of the game. They're responding to any resistance as if they're a team that expected to win this game by 30 and are not doing that. Their reactions, frustrations, etc are out of character.

Yeah though it almost seems like he's doing more of that this year. A change for the worse if you will. He makes some great passes, but the bone headed careless ones, and the dribbling down low in traffic is so frustrating. This is high school level stuff.

We can make a run if we hit 55% from 3... that's young's offense. When the 3's are falling, we can beat anyone. Also Catoor needs to score more than 3 points and Keve more than 6...

This is an oversimplification - some of our games withbthe lowest 3% were in the winning streak. One of the articles went into how our defense started winning it for us as the expense of the previously high 3%.

Yep, I've said that many times on this forum, you are right. Why? Because they had beaten us 17 straight, including in Cassell against Buzz's best team with their illegal shoe deal transition team. The fact that this team needed them to have an interim coach/dumpster fire with Mack and all time worse conference season, in order for us to beat them validates my opinion- which of course had hyperbole in it as I've said "never" involving a game with 18-22 year old kids.

The refs stole our lead in the first half but at one point In the 2nd, we had 4 to their 10 team fouls. We blew that game in the second half. Clemson's second effort points didn't help. VT completely ignoring the bonus+ with two of their bigs with 4 fouls????? Turnovers are what they are. We've done that all season. Just an overall disappointing player/coach based loss.

Just think the discussed plan needed to be drive to the rack with Pedulla finish with mutts Nguessan or Aluma draw the foul, from about 7 min out. Keep Maddox and alleyne on the wing for the kick out. Never saw a lineup or attempt at this which was baffling. Kept just crowding the 3 point line and trying to play iso ball with mutts down low. whhhyy

Agreed. Ultimately it won't be that Clemson game that decides this team's fate if they don't make the tournament. It's going to be the losses in non-conference and the beginning of conference play. Those games matter. There seems to be this sentiment that as long as you play well in February and March, it will be okay. Not the case.
