Last Thursday Shane checked in on the stud 4-star athlete.

Today it was Frank's turn.

2015 commit Ashton White (Friendship Collegiate Academy, Washington DC) is pitching in too.

DeBerry's films is on his Hudl: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/611286/highlights/112548375.
I watched 15 minutes of film and saw him make plays at tailback, wide receiver, defensive end, linebacker, and split out covering a wide receiver. He's really impressive rushing the passer with a hand on the ground. I wonder if he fits as a backer or defensive end at Tech. Perhaps his skills fit a hybrid position like what we saw from Dadi last season. Given Tech's lack of depth at both positions, he's an important recruit to keep an eye on.

This warms my heart so much......
One of my favorite things about recruiting is seeing our commits try to persuade potential recruits to come to Tech. Love seeing the VT love from these young guys.
DeBerry is in high demand. I know that Butch Jones at Tennessee loves him. He has been a high priority target for Shane Beamer, much like CJ Reavis was in this class. I think he would be a spectacular fit at backer.
Hopefully they stopped by to see his teammate Garrett Taylor too.
He's apparently very excited about an upcoming visit to tOSU, and loves Florida, wants a return trip. And this:
If you're viewing on a mobile device that doesn't show the embedded tweets properly, @JKamara1 says @TheFranchize__ Its the place to be bro [uva], and CJ Reavis' response is "lmaoo".
God I love that kid. He's one of my favorite hokies and he hasn't even put on the uniform yet.
Kamara was also the same kid that said " Go wherever you gone start, winning games doesn't get you to the league" Haha a Smart man he is. I don't think he is aware of the Decade of Dominace. What a silly
He is actually making a pretty shrewd point.
If you are acquiring some killer stats and highlights on an otherwise bad team, it's almost as good as putting up big numbers on a championship team so far as perception goes.
From what I recall, UVA is putting its share of players into the league.
name me one skilled position player in the last 3-4 years that went to UVA and is doing ok on an NFL team?
Ogletree is catching on at Dallas last time I checked.
Going to be honest. Im not sure we want to heat up a "sending you to the NFL debate". Tech and UVA are about on an even playing field there as hard as that is to admit. Although Kam Chancellor is having a hell of a year so thats pretty awesome.
Dont forget flowers made it to the pro bowl again this year!
Look, I'm not going to get in a big debate about this. It's not that interesting a topic to me.
Looking at the current NFL rosters, UVA has pretty much identical numbers as VT.
I think my point is defensible, but I'm not going to argue with someone whether an opposing player is stupid because of something said in 140 characters or less.
If it satisfies your fandom to do so, well more power to you. You'll definitely win by default.
Not going to do the research on the last 3-4, but currently in the NFL there are 22 Wahoos and 21 Hokies according to espn:

Being a good player on a good team is all well and good and gets you noticed, but so does being the best player on a bad team. Actually that would probably get you more attention. The NFL teams don't give a crap how many wins your school got this year, just how many wins you can help them get.
That's probably true, but is it because a player would rather be "the best" by default than have to out-compete other players? Is that enough for him to ignore all losses? "Yeah, we lost, but at least I'm the best guy on this team?"
Is that how Mike London got those 5*'s? "Come here and you'll be my best player as soon as your foot hits campus"?
IDK man. If that's the reason a guy wants to go be a wahoo instead of a Hokie, then I say "Goodbye. So long. Have a nice long winter at home."
If all you want to do is get to the NFL, then sure, it doesn't really matter.
If I was a coach? I'd want players who want to win.
Agreed. I still can't believe they would post that, let alone think it.
If a player starts for UVA and no one is there to see it, did he really start?
By that measure, are we sure that UVA has ever conducted a spring game?
CJ Reavis is quickly become a great Hokie. Love the pre-enrollment UVA smacktalk
Yo, this^^^ is the shit. Go CJ!
I immediately got this song stuck in my head
Now it's in your head too...
Nice try, but "Whoop there it is " is ALWAYS playing in my head already
Shane's "who farted?" face is coming along quite nicely
Wow shots fired
I don't understand the point of taking shots at an 18 year old on Twitter because he picked the wrong school.
Recruits trash talking recruits: OK
Players trash talking players: OK
Fans trash talking fans: OK
Anything else: No
why is @VTmaroonUni's profile pic of a white uniform? LAME
good question.. maybe because a maroon jersey and maroon pants are as rare as seeing a dinosaur.
Great now we will have VT Hokiestone Dinosaur Unis next year. Thanks...
DeBerry is gonna be a hell of a LB. At some of the camps this yr he was outperforming the 2014 top recruits. He loves shane beamer tho
