12 years ago, Joe, being a massive nerd like many of us, chose to launch TKP on Pi day, 2010. I had some vague ambition of putting together some big, flashy post talking about the changes over the years, but I spent a lot more time watching the ACC tournament than I thought I would😉. So, I'll just say this: Glad you did it, Joe. Glad you've stuck it out over the years and put in all the hard work to make this the best damn hokie site on the inter webs.
Please share your appreciation with a comment or GIF (and possibly a TKPC membership?).
Lastly, I love everyone in this bar.

Oh no! we're about to enter the angsty years
If last year's football posts weren't the angsty years, I'm a afraid of what is to come
Joe, TKPC is a Hokie treasure. Thank you sir for all that you do on our behalf. Come on y'all, get fully dipped! Mike Young and Brent Pry are generating more excitement than we have had since the early 00's. It's fun to be a Hokie sports fanatic again!
My favorite sports bar too, fam!
TKP has been pretty great. After lurking during all my years actually on campus, I finally pulled the trigger on registering an account 5 years ago. In hindsight I probably never would have gotten my PhD if I had the account while I was a student 😅
Wait, TKP's birthday is 2 days after we win our 1st ACC Basketball championship......

JK, Joe, this website and its content is a National Treasure (says ALL Hokie fans!). This is my first and dominant path to everything Hokie sports. The content and community is always great. The diversity of opinions and humor is the best, off the charts.
Happy Birthday TKP! And to Joe and all the other staff...
Happy Birthday TKP!
OP said share your appreciation with a comment or GIF, did not specify what kind of GIF
I like the cut of your jib
Oh, we are doing creepy gifs today?
Sigh.... Y'all ain't right. Now I am going to have creepy ass dreams tonight.
What is wrong with you people?
But why? I don't understand.

Has being locked up in a Super Classified Information Fortress all by yourself with limited work gotten to you that bad Dear?
Ummmm... I love you but I don't think "normal" is the correct word here.
Little... babies... ice cream
I've told this story before, but I lurked on this site from the beginning until I finally joined in 2013, simply because I was that insecure about interacting with anonymous individuals in an online forum. I was in a pretty low mind space when I finally joined and TKP is legitimately what kicked off the upswing. Thank you Joe, I cannot tell you the joy some of the content and the interactions this site has brought.
I stumbled across this site while in Afghanistan in 2012. I was missing most of the season because of the deployment and lack of Hokie games on AFN (Armed Forces Network). Coming here and reading the post game threads brought joy (and sadness, that season sucked) so I registered for my account.
Thanks for creating this Joe, and thanks to the mods for keeping us in-line. I myself have had my hand smacked a time or two.
Thanks to all the members here, I have laughed with and at you, become angered, sympathized, and empathized with a lot of you all. It really is a big virtual family! It is not lost on me how this site is more fun to be around when Hokie sports are thriving, so lets hope CBP can keep this goodness flowing into the fall!
LETS GO...!
Happy Birthday FAM!
Happy Birthday TKP! Without this website, my life would have taken a completely different trajectory, and for that I am forever grateful! Thanks Joe!
Boy is that true for y'all
This still blows my mind.
do tell
They met at the Spring Game via TKP and got married last December.
And she "proposed" to him in the Spring Game thread before she actually met him in person.
Unrelated: I need your Lancers to big-dick Tennessee right on out of the tournament in the opening round.
I am hoping so!!
I mean Long-Wood.....
I can confirm that this story is true. Source: I am the lucky husband.
Between this story and the cave/ACC Championship story, y'all's 🦃❤ story is racking up the epic wins.
I somehow missed the latter one.
It's in the Duke/ACC Championship thread... Basically they went to a concert in a cave in Tennessee Saturday during the game. They didn't know the results until after the concert was over.
Happy birthday TKP! This site and the people on it keep me connected to the VT community in so many ways- not just what's going on in sports, but the university as a whole. The people here are constantly teaching me about new things about sports, life, science, pop culture, food, travel, you name it. I never know when some new interesting thread is gonna happen. You folks also helped get me through a very tough time in my life almost 8 years ago with your compassion and sympathy.
Joe and his entire crew of top notch journalists/writers/analyists pump out incredible content on the hokies that can be found nowhere else. Regular members do features on niche sports just because they enjoy doing it.
GGC, Chris, and VTGuitarman excel at the thankless job of tactfully keeping all of us knuckleheads in line.
Thank you Joe, contributors, and the TKP community at large for all you do.
LETS GO!
(And make some noise in the tourney)
Definitely spend an unhealthy amount of time on this website, but I enjoy the banter.
My favorite place to hang out for a very long time. Life may have taken over in some regards, but no day is the same without checking in to TKP and hanging out with all of you. Happy birthday TKP, and thanks Joe.
Happy Birthday TKP! Thanks Joe! If you're not already in the club hurry up and join. Well worth it.
I have had my ups and downs with TKP. It's not always pretty but it's family. I appreciate this little corner of the internet more than any other. Proud to be here.
Happy birthday TKP! You guys and gals are my favorite people ever. Much thanks to the hard work of Joe, the contributors, and the Mods. I wish I got to spend more time here, but the time I do get to hang here is usually the best (and ALWAYS the funniest) part of my day.
I love you FAM.
...and a happy new year! Woo!
Happy birthday TKP! And thank you Joe for all you do. I'm happy I can support it financially in some small way (and honestly I'd do more if I could). Since I signed up 9 years ago this site has been a virtually daily visit for me.
Thanks all. It's been a lot of work, and damn if I haven't been tempted 1 or 100 times to move on, but I still love this place. I really appreciate everyone who has helped me build it along the way.
BIG GROUP HUG!!!
This site has gotten me through 3 states, 5 cities, rough patches in school, helped me find great people to talk to on here and off, found some great food to eat, and a new found love of all things Hokie.
Hey Fireman...just paging you to see if you, as the original creator of the E$PN tourney bracket we all keep re-using, can change the group motto to something other than 'buzzketball'. We need some fresh karma my friend.....
Good lord. I'll have to see if I even have that login and account anymore. I'll check tomorrow.
That's a no go. Don't even have that email account anymore to recover it.
I've said it a bunch of times, but TKP gave me the VT community I never had growing up in upstate SC. This has and will continue to be a very special place for me.
Cheers

This is home.
Y'all have let me be as weird as a beard can be. Thank you for not kicking me out, and welcoming me back in whenever the mood arises. This is indeed the best damn VT fan community on the internet.
Not bad for a Giants fan, Joe.
Happy Birthday TKP - Salute to you Joe and all of the staff that keep this place the best source for Hokie sports news and conversation
