Get paid!
For how far he dropped in the draft and how much he's bounced around, I'm extremely impressed with his ability to stay in the league and get hisself paid.
Dude's run up a 10 year career and made almost 60mil before this contract.
I really wish Tyrod could find his forever home. It's like every situation he's ever been in during his pro career has been as the plan B guy, and this one isn't any different.
My favorite Hokie and I love that he is still getting paid.
I wish some team would come to their senses and really give him a legitimate shot, but it's too late for that at this point.
Make your money young man. And come back and Coach or do nothing if you want cause you earned every cent.
Well, the Chargers gave him a shot, although I question it's legitimacy . . .
Right before the team Dr almost ended his career.
Nearly his life, actually
Welp I know Joe is having himself a pretty good week
I kind of wish Tyrod had seen more gridiron glory in the form of championships or at least being a leader on a winning team, but also:
Need to Photoshop a huge SB ring on Woody's hand to make this 800% accurate.
He does have a SB ring!
As a lifelong Giants fan, I welcome this.
Giants fans can repurpose their old Lawrence Taylor jerseys by taping over the 6.
It's amazing how having a good attitude, work ethic, and staying out of trouble can get you far in life.
You forgot "looking fly as hell all the time."
He's going to be an in-demand coach when he retires if he wants it. Well-spoken enough to do media if he wants it. Could just chill back in VB in a beautiful mansion and be the ultimate family man if he wants it.
Despite being an NFL nomad and a former sixth-round pick, he put together an impressive career. The world is going to be his oyster when he decides to hang it up.
He's into fashion, and goes to Milan and Paris quite a bit in the off season. He's already getting money from clothiers he reps with his fit to games. I'm interested to see him start his own high end clothing line.
I know all these guys are competitive as hell and would rather put up stats and break records, but Tyrod has had the ideal career. Made life changing money while watching NFL games from the front row and keeping himself is great shape. He will be able to walk and remember his name in his 60s, so I think he's is doing it right.
Great point, that's an often overlooked benefit to being a journeyman player.
