We've had some good luck with Kasa bulbs ourselves, but am always in the market for more. At some point, I'd love to get some RBG LED strips for accent lighting, either above cabinets or behind the tv or bookcases.
Also, does anyone have some good recommendations for just regular LED bulbs that don't flake out after a year? We got some from Home Depot about a year ago when we started furnishing out our home and one by one they are all beginning to fail. Which is stupid because they're supposed to last... well... a hell of a lot longer than this.

i really like GE's "HD Light" line of LED bulbs -- moved into my apartment in Dec 2018, swapped out all the hospital sterile feeling 7000k white bulbs with a warmer feel 2700k soft yellow LED and it's so nice and I haven't had to replace one yet. That particular line has three different color temps designated by "relax", "refresh", and "reveal". I get em at Target

What brand did you buy? I'd stick with some bigger names that go through a more thorough vetting and testing process (Philips, GE, Westinghouse Electric, Sylvania). There are some Chinese manufacturers who cut some corners. Those brands still meet efficacy standards, but there are more bad lamps in their batches. The name brands will likely be more expensive, but it's still better than the energy costs of fluorescent!

In my last house, I used various types and sizes of Feit Electric bulbs and they worked great (starting switching to their LED bulbs about five years ago and never had any issues with them). New house already had LED bulbs throughout but I did buy a few of their smart LED shop lights for my garage that can change color and are dimmable. I've only had them installed for a couple of months and I've really happy with them so far.

Yea that doesn't make much sense for those manufacturers. Could be as Gobble Gobble Chumps mentioned or you've had some really bad luck
I had two Phillips bulbs crap out in a pretty short lifetime. All the others in my house have been chugging along since September of 2018.
If you have them in a fixture that doesn't vent well, it shortens their lifespan. LEDs don't do well if they're allowed to overheat.
