There's a barbecue place that might have just opened that's also very close to the airport. I'm actually going to be driving by in a couple of minutes so I can scope it out for you. edit - it's not open on Wednesdays.
Also, do you know where about you are staying while in Richmond. I can direct you to other stuff that's closer to that.

Right by the airport. Have to leave Friday morning at 6am to get back home since wife is on call. So quick drive up the west Moreland county tomorrow then fly out early Friday.

Antonio's pizza is near but I think closes at 10 they're solid. Otherwise I'd guess best bet for food is waffle house at that hour unless there is some bar in Richmond open later

Ain't that the truth. I always grab either a cream filled or jelly filled anytime I'm on that stretch of Williamsburg, and a few times when I'm on Laburnum driving by.

From the airport Station 2, Poe's Pub, and Siné are all close and open right now. Siné can get pretty clubby late, but idk what's it's like on Wednesday. Station 2 has great burgers and is usually pretty slow on weeknights that don't have trivia. Poe's is a little divier, but has great food IMO.

I keep searching for "late night dinner" and it gives me places that close at 9pm? I thought Richmond had moved beyond that.

COVID really messed up the hours to a lot of the restaurants in RVA.
If you want something quick and fast there is a Sheetz and a Wawa just outside of the airport, before you get to the interstate.
There's a Waffle House if you want to sit down and eat that is to the left.
It to the left off of the interstate you will find all sorts of fast food options like cookout, Taco Bell, McDonald's, etc

Marco's Pizza on laburnum is very good if you want pizza. They don't close until 11:00.

Flight didn't land until after 10:30 then took forever to get bag and rental car, got donuts now going to sleep for 4 hours. Thanks everyone.
