I haven't seen a straight answer about this anywhere, but is the Peach Bowl name coming back for the CFP?
I read one article that said yes, but the link to that article said maybe. And then there's the rumor than it's only the Peach Bowl in years that it hosts a semi-final.

i can't definitively answer your question, but i BELIEVE the answer is that it is indeed going back to the Chick Fil-A Peach Bowl (for all years). you are correct though, after i saw it initially reported as a fact, i haven't seen anything else to back it up. I'm sure there are simply contract issues that need to be hammered out, but at the end of the day, i think it was a part of the agreement to include them in the rotation.

I dunno... I've always called it the Peach Bowl. I don't care who sponsors it... it'll always be the Peach Bowl to me.
Same here. Always have, and always will be the Peach Bowl.
I really hope so. I really don't like how some bowls are just named after the sponsor now instead of just including the company in the name. Peach Bowl is MUCH better sounding and i can't believe they ever changed it.
It is the one bad thing CFA has done.
dangit...now i want some nuggets and a lemonade
Oh the pains of geography. Suffered through an entire season of CFA spots, now an off season mysteriously filled with Sonic ads, and what does New York not have? You guessed it. Not even a Hardees, Bojangles or Waffle House. To make matters worse, we had just discovered Cookout right before we moved up here.
We do have Five Guys', Moe's and Chi-po-tul's, depending on your pref. And lots of local places (mind you this is Up State horse racin', snow skiin' country).
I kept reading that third restaurant you do have and it ALMOST went over my head. Then I realized what you did there
Strange. I feel hungry all of a sudden for a CFA Peach Shake.
Agreed, those are excellent. Maybe they just rename it the CFA Fresh-Spun Peach Shake Bowl.
I was worried that posting this on Sunday would make everyone want to rush out, but it looks like everyone had their delayed reaction during the week when it's open.
My recollection is, it started out as the CFA Peach Bowl but CFA got really annoyed that the media kept referring to it as the Peach Bowl so they took matters into their own hands.
But that's just like any of the bowls. Outside of ESPN or corporate partners, does anyone refer to the Discover Orange Bowl?
The only bowls I refer to by the sponsor are the ones that don't have a name other than the sponsor.
it was part of an agreement to dramatically increase payouts IIRC. Peach Bowl wanted to catch up to CapOne (formerly Citrus), and CFA said they would pitch in if they changed the name to compensate them.
Perhaps the Chick-Fil-A Peach Milkshake Bowl? Best of both worlds?
Cause you know the "milkshakes and Kelis bring all da boyz to da yd."
