That's incredibly awesome and a reminder that everyday see people you don't know, you don't know what is going on with them and how much any kind gesture can mean to someone

Man, really committed to recruiting these VA kids early in the process.

In all seriousness, this is awesome. He continues to show we hired the right culture fit. Now it just comes down to the product on the field.

love this man

Wow. Who started cutting onions in the room?

Coach Pry just has "good dude" written all over him.

"Exit light..."

This. I understand the crack about having the PR thing down. But this was not PR. This was just a good dude who happens to be a football coach. Which makes it way better than PR.

just a good guy being a good dude and relating to the public

Just a guy being a dude

That was the reference, yes

That's how you buy goodwill that will help you tread water in down years.

Sweet.

What's with the LOLUVa colored VT shirt?

You will see this game, this upset and this sign next on ESPN Sportscenter. Virginia Tech 31 Miami 7

His decision was made after a phone call with longtime Virginia Tech assistant coach Bud Foster. All Foster told him was, "We win. They don't."

My bad. Just realized I had looked at it before with sunglasses on. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Carry on. Nothing to see here

No one seems to have mentioned our cheerleaders wearing these colors. I first noticed it at the 2018 notre dame game..

Can't see the tweet here or on twitter. Can someone give me a summary?

Pry saw a random parent throwing football with their kid in their yard. He pulled over and spent a little time tossing with him and chatting. Took a picture and went on his way.

Did we pick up any crystal balls for the kid? Or is he at least a heavy VT lean now?

Reminds me of a Bill Murray sighting! Maybe this will become his thing!

Thanks!

It's going to suck SO HARD if Pry isn't a good HC. Because he's definitely an awesome person.

Every time I read something about Pry like this all I can think is that this man must be a huge extrovert. He sounds exhausting, which is probably a good attribute for being a head coach as it's constant people interaction whether it be recruiting or boosters or current players or former players, or some university function. I'd be so stressed out, and I spend most of my day in coordination meetings.

I'm sure that's why he has admin staff to help him take care of the nitty-gritty stuff.
