I still can't imagine the insane amount of work they had to do in a short period of time to rebuild the trust with the coaches and be able to sell the program to the players. New in-state recruiters earning every cent.
Pry did a wonderful job of hiring people that have recruited this area and have those connections. They had to work, but they have a foundation built already. That's not to take away anything from the hard work everyone has done, but to highlight that Pry built a staff to do this.

I don't know what the future W-L looks like with Pry, but at this point I am willing to give him as much leeway as he needs. The guy just seems to get what it takes to be a HC at this level. Looking forward to seeing it on the field.
This guy has Dabo-level charisma. If VT returns to prominence, everybody gonna be hating on him for pulling these performances. You love to have it on your side.

Watch the social.media video on it. Not a maroon blazer. Custom tailored suit with Hokie bird lining. In a podcast interview Kaleb Smith also mentioned he got his suit via an NIL deal with a clothing company in Roanoke and the Hokies would be wearing suits for the walk on GameDay. Smith said he always looked up to Clemson for wearing suits in GameDay and loved it.
Pry knows how to market to his team and his audience. If he can just start winning, the buy in is going to be off the charts.
