Commenting now so I can... find it layter.

let it be plaid
Eh. leg.
Did you say "eh"?
There's two hosers that need to give their balls a tug.
I was going to use that gif, but the weird way Shoresy skates takes away from the hilarity. I don't think the character was fully developed at this point in Letterkenny, so they made him a little more eccentric or something than he is in his own show.
The giant visor still cracks me up no matter what though. We all know it's Jared Keeso, but they're gonna hide it anyway.
I love the ridiculousness of it.
Speaking of Shoresy, the guys/girls hockey game is one of the best scenes in the whole series.

I absolutely cracked up at the ridiculousness of it when I first watched it. It's just weird out of context in a gif.
I need to learn how to skate like that
Should be easy to point out if you have a finglonger
Here's hoping he Finds the QB Earlier than the offense plans many times in the next 4 years.
Welcome home, Ishmael
Have we ever had Canadian recruits on the football roster?
I want to say we has a WR from Canada like 10 years ago, I think they transfered to a high school in the US for his senior year.
Josh Stanford.
Thank you
Yep, he was a bright spot in 2012, had some solid plays in 2013, but then whatever happened off the field got into the locker room. He had what Beamer called a "leave of absence" in 2014, rejoined the team later in the season, and I don't even think he made the Military bowl game.
He ended up at Kansas the following year.
He had that great TD in the 2013 blowout of Miami where he ran through nearly their entire defense on his way to the end zone. And...that's about all I remember of him, haha.
I will always remember that play when I think of him.
My memory is he had an excellent frosh year in 2013 as a starter. Although that was sort of like being the tallest midget in the room, his future looked pretty bright. I think he started vs OSU in '14 and had a couple of catches and a run or two in that game.
Then something went off the rails not too long after that - and when he returned, he'd been passed by Isaiah Ford (and maybe Cam Phillips too). He never got it back together after that.
From what I've heard secondhand from some players around that time, taking the leave of absence was absolutely the best thing for him as a person. Not sure it's a straight line from this to that, but I know he was part of the group of football players that were good friends with Hokie wrestler Darren Hankins, who passed away in a swimming accident in summer 2014.
and as a general remark, he was a grad transfer when he left
Ishmael talking smack to the opposing OL
Welcome home, Ishmael!
Let's Go!
Hokies!
All I can see is MindFlayer
May he feast on the broken minds and spirits of our opponents

There is a shortage of Moby Dick gifs available. No one memes the classics anymore.
Anybody else interested why he isn't in the 6 hour window? What the connection here?
I saw on 247 that he unofficially visited PSU in november, so someone the staff knew of from previous gig -- how that connection was made, no idea
Just spitballing here, but he visited PSU earlier and he's probably not a take there, but may have been referred to HCBP by his many connections in Happy Valley. Super glad to see him coming to the Good Guys, his height and reach are unteachable assets. With some speed, body and technique development, he could be a real playmaker.
Expanding the footprint. Canucks2VT.
Anywhere in Blacksburg serve a good Poutine these days?
Must not down vote gif but I threw up in my mouth at it.
Is there a good Poutine anywhere???
You guys don't like Poutine? Dude, Fries/Cheese Curds/Gravy, how can you go wrong?
Pretty easily. Poutine is one of those dishes thats either really good or really bad
Definitely agree when poor quality gravy is used or when meat is involved.
Low grade meat will completely ruin the experience. However when high quality smoked meat or pulled pork is added it can take it to a whole new level
Hard pass on soggy fries. Cheese fries are ok as long as it isn't liquid cheese poured on them because then you get soggy fries.
Lots of people start with the wrong fries, but this is the easiest part to get right.
Good cheese curds are few and far between
Gravy is few and far between
Gravy that goes with the cheese curds is almost impossible to find.
It's basically the stars have to align for pouting to be good.
Either I got lucky as shit on my first ever poutine experience (Commonwealth brewery in Virginia Beach, oddly) or I just fucking love cheese potatoes and gravy
Yeah. It's not rocket science. I've had good poutine at several places in the US and Canada.
I do not understand the poutine pouting in this subthread - must be my Midwestern roots showing love to potatoes, dairy, and gravy.
My first poutine was in Montreal while on a bachelor party and it was glorious.
My second and most sober poutine experience was at Sidecar in Roanoke, this also was glorious.
Deduction: All poutine is glorious.
Meh, French fries and ketchup are still undefeated
Good fries shouldn't need ketchup. I'll put it on bad ones. I'd prefer mustard, but that's rarely an option.
Ketchup is one of the greatest foods in the history of the world, and the French fry is the best vehicle for it.
This deserves the banhammer (from civilized society). I literally threw up in my mouth a bit reading this. Ketchup only belongs on two food items: cheeseburgers (along with mayo, mustard, bacon, and L.T.O.P.) and meatloaf (though I more frequently use BBQ sauce and cook mine in the smoker).
A person that puts mustard on a burger doesn't get to judge the preferences of others.
I'll judge whoever I want. Mustard > ketchup.
Mustard on a hamburger is a travesty
I don't really understand this. I can't be the only one who enjoys all 3 on a typical burger, with the normal toppings of lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy this combo without the mustard, and I usually add only about 20% mustard to the quantity of mayo and ketchup, but the overwhelming opinion that the mustard detracts from the experience is foreign to me. To each their own I suppose...
Rather have mustard on a burger than mayo
Ketchup AND mustard is a pre-requisite for perfect burger.
Omitting one or the other should get an automatic ejection and a suspension for the first half of the following game.
Oddly, as someone who hates to tomatoes, I agree completely. We actually just returned from Maui, and the cheeseburger with made from scratch fries and 29-ingredient house made ketchup from Monkeypod may be the best thing I've ever eaten. That ketchup almost doesn't need fries.
That sounds heavenly
If there are fries so bad that one would think ketchup would improve them, I'd just as soon not eat them.
Not too long ago, I discovered malt vinegar for a good change-of-pace condiment for fries. I don't have it every time, but it's pretty good.
I loved going to England where the fish and chips came with the mushy peas and malt vinegar for the fries.
I'll pass on mushy peas (or pretty much any veggies that could be classified as "mushy").
You know what's really really good? Mix some malt vinegar in with the ketchup and put that on your fries. MMMMMMM So good it'll make your lips smack your brains out.
I'm just amazed that the thread has gone this long without anyone pointing out that if you have really good, double-fried fries, mayonnaise is the best accompaniment.
If you ever make it to Belgium or Holland, you're welcome.
Nah raw Mayo is gross. I only like it when it's baked into a crab cake or something like that
Mayo has one place, pimento cheese, that is all
Chicken salad, ham salad, broccoli salad, homemade coleslaw, potato salad, smoked trout dip, Waldorf salad, tomato sandwiches or BLT's?
Okay okay, Waldorf salad does get a pass from me. It's some good stuff.
I dont know what a tomato sandwich is, I assume tomatoes, mayo, and bread to which if I wanted to eat tomatoes I would just slight, lightly salt and eat
This offends me.
Mater sandwiches in the summer. Fresh picked right of the vine, lightly salted with Duke's is a staple.
100%. Unfortunately I lost the argument regarding Duke's so we keep a jar of each in the frig. When the Duke's is depleted and I have to use Hellmans, it's just not the same.
If I ever opened my fridge and saw a jar of hellmans, I would gingerly step away and call the police.
I would have to assume that someone had infiltrated my home and I wouldn't want to taint any evidence.
Vinegar based coleslaw is best IMO, especially when paired with bbq served with a tangy sauce. Mustard based potato salad is better than mayo based. I don't care for any of the mayo salads or BLTs. I'll grant you smoked trout dip though.
I agree raw Mayo is mostly gross, with the few exceptions (e.g., Waldorf salad and chicken salad). But, two hacks that use mayo cooked/baked:
These hacks will up your kitchen skills, guaranteed. Provides a delightful moistness to the finished products.
You can sub unsweetened applesauce for the oil in baking, and not have to use mayo...
I agree with the first one. I'll have to try the second - maybe I should mark it somehow to make it easy to Findlayter.
I went to a game at Fenway Park a few weeks ago and stumbled upon the Test Kitchen concession stand. I got pork belly poutine fries and fluffernutter sweet potato fries. While the pork belly and cheese curds were good, the fluffernutter fries were eye opening. They did em up right. They topped them with marshmallow sauce, peanut butter sauce, peanuts, and parsley.
In the spirit of NILs like the one Decoldest Crawford got at Nebraska, what companies would sponsor a player named Findlayter?
Come to think of it, Ishmael could pull some good sponsors too. This guy is destined for sponsorships.
Dream big- Google or DuckDuckGo?
Or for the first name - Verizon or Sprint- "Call me, Ishmael" ?
(Moby) Dick's Sporting Goods
Satisfaction guaranteed, or you get a free putter cover?
Or, if he goes into pre-law or finance, get him on a NIL with JG Wentworth
Call JG Wentworth! 877-Pass Rush Now!.....
877-Pass Rush Now!
Yes! Call me (maybe) Ishmael!
He would be the perfect sponsor for one of those things you hook to your keys or other things (ex. Tile) so you can find them later.
That... was absolutely.... perfect. I regret that I have but one leg to give.
But I also hate how much I laughed at this
This is what I'm TALKING ABOUT ! YES!
Came here for crooting news.
Entered a debate on condiments
Never change, TKP
I checked this morning and saw 25+ new comments and thought the mods had to take a flamethrower to a thread from somebody saying something stupid. Nope, just the normal food arguments.
Half of the key play experience:
I will never forget my only food fight experience in Dietrick Hall on a day they were serving spaghetti.
Wow, I missed out on this college experience. The only food fight I recall at Dietrick was fighting to get to the toilet in time...
I see the experience of "getting Dietricked" wasn't unique to my class.
I did miss the sandwich line once they switched to the D2 format.
A condiment that tastes great on red meat and spuds

HP is basically the British version of A1.
And just like that, we're back in the name game.
