Cam Phillips #89 for Toronto having a decent game for the Argos almost had a spectacular leaping catch with a man about to light him up but just a touch too high.

if any of y'all watch/listen to the the pivot podcast, Khalil Herbert got a mention in the Patrick Surtain/Patrick Surtain II episode, guess he played with Patrick Surtain II in high school, and the head coach was Patrick Surtain, on a team with like 6 future NFL players lol. Imagine playing a team that stacked in HS......

Speaking of Hoffman and Herbert - two transfers that we'd all love to have for 4 years in Blacksburg - I would love to see these two guys under the Pry regime with the emphasis on running the ball.

My wife is a Bills fan so I keep tabs on them. I know this isn't the best place for information, but the Bills subreddit wants him cut for some reason. I will say he got blown up on some blocks, but he was one of their most productive backs in the preseason.

#Giants QB Tyrod Taylor was carted to the locker room after taking a big hit. He was able to jog to the sideline and was evaluated in the medical tent before the cart came.Officially, it's a back injury.— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) August 28, 2022
Sigh.

Daboll said Tyrod Taylor should be OK. They talked at halftime after the QB left with a back injury. Daboll said you can tell Davis Webb is comfortable in their scheme.— Dan Salomone (@Dan_Salomone) August 28, 2022

I saw that and am glad he will be okay. I think at this point, he is getting hired for mentoring and limited play more than the chance of any meaningful play.
They again, he has had a 10+ year career with limited wear and tear on the body that could affect him long term (ie. Concussions).

James Mitchell with his first nfl catch this weekend, nice to see him take it upfield for the first down and go right at the defender instead of out of bounds
Lecitus Smith played a good bit for the Cardinals yesterday. O-Line stats are hard to come by, but it looks like that was only his 3rd game seeing action. He was on the field for a lot of the game though. Or at least enough for me to notice him several times.

I'm still amazed that he has made it into the NFL. When he was at VT he couldn't seem to hit anything over 40 yards like 70% of the time. I'd love to know what changed!

Titans' 2021 first-round pick Caleb Farley had a Microdisectomy on his back today and will miss the rest of the season, per source. Farley was dealing with a herniated disk, but he is expected to be ready for the start of the offseason program.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 8, 2022

From the Toronto site.....
Virginia Tech University (sigh)

Hewitt in for a decent number of snaps last night against Chicago. Herbert played but only a limited number of snaps.
Hewitt (62) getting lots of snaps for Seattle tonight.
Brock been playing well!

Gregstroman with an INT for da bears
Blackshear had a decent showing for the Bills last night.

Seeing that the Bills fans wanted TT5 run outta town, I'm gonna go ahead and say they don't usually know what they're talking about.
I love Bills Mafia's enthusiasm, but

Our guy Tyrod is hurt again.
Sigh.
I really hope it's nothing, but he got squashed awkwardly by that DL's full weight with velocity. Doesn't seem fair on many levels.
He's got to have one of the unluckiest careers in the NFL.
David Wilson on line one...
Ryan WIlliams would also like a word.
I just saw Kyle Fuller go down for the Ravens. TV broadcast said they couldn't/wouldn't show the replay. Not good.
Fyi from the giants org

Dude has had an amazing career as a backup. I would take 7MM a year to carry a clipboard for sure.
Plus we can't forget that Super Bowl ring as a Raven. Hasn't been ideal but has had a hell of a career and earned lots of respect amongst his peers.
Kyle Fuller very clearly injured on a push off by Jets WR.
CBS flat out stated that they wouldn't show a replay, likely pretty serious
Torn ACL 😭
Yup. I had a feeling that was what it was when I saw the video.
James Mitchell with his first nfl catch this weekend, nice to see him take it upfield for the first down and go right at the defender instead of out of bounds
Raheem Blackshear got some snaps for the panthers late on in their blowout loss to the Bengals.
James Mitchell scored the decisive TD in Lions win over GB
He was returning kicks well and scoreD a rushing TD.
With the Lions trading Hockenson, I hope Mitchell continues to get more PT.

Slye with a 58 yarder to end the half. Glad he got another shot after Carolina
Yea, that was awesome.
I'll gladly shit myself and show it off at work tomorrow if Washington can pull out this win.
Wear a pair of pants you don't care about.
😬
Well, here goes.......

Just tacked on a 55 yarder.
Probably likes the NFL's narrower hashes better.
Kendall had really good game last night also. He had really been struggling the last few weeks.
Ricky Walker just lost in the Grey Cup with Winnipeg. Toronto won on a blocked field goal. Chad Kelly of all players is the QB for Toronto.
Cam Phillips wins a championship (Grey Cup) with Toronto.
kendal fuller with a pick 6 today Video link
Brock Hoffman elevated to the gameday roster for the Cowboys tomorrow. Very unlikely to play, but you never know.....
WOOOOO!!!!!!
