This year, like last year, I'm going to try to find games that are interesting due to the spread, matchups that aren't talked to death all week by ESPN, or teams we all just love to hate. That said, except for Hokie games, I will do my best to avoid Thursday games to give everyone a chance to put their picks in. Thus, no Shit-Eaters vs Cousins this week.

Brent Pry can make a statement here by making a smaller Virginia school look like they shouldn't be able to compete with the Hokies on the field of play or the recruiting trail. Cincy @ Arkansas I have no idea, really. I think Cincy is getting a little disrespected here. I don't know if they win outright but I do think they keep it very close. Within 3, I think.
ND @ OSU I think ND is going to be amped up with a new "player's coach" after the departure of BK. I don't think they'll win but I think they'll keep it close.
Georgia St @ SCAR I think Shane and the Cocks cover easily. SEC teams, unlike the ACC, typically put their inferior competition away fairly easily. It might be an ugly first half, being it's the first game, but by the end of the 3rd the talent gap will become evident and SCAR will run away with it late.
Boise St @ OSU I have no idea. I'll take the home team to win by 4+
FSU @ LSU This is such a tough one. I hate BK and want to see him get crushed. I hate FSU and love when they struggle. I think the SEC is far superior to the ACC, though. I think FSU will look good early but LSU will have a strong second half to put the Seminoles away. LSU 35 - 24 FSU

Beer of the week...Just picked up a 4 pack of Bells Double Two Hearted. Need a big IPA to go with the burgers Friday night and the jalapeno poppers. Not a local craft, but trying to slim the caloric intake a bit. Do have some Dewey Swishy Pants for the rest of the weekend though, but a 4 pack of the Bells should work wonders Friday night.
Give me a standard Two Hearted and you got yourself a deal.
I do think the standard is better, but wanted fewer trips up and down on Friday night, and a 4 pk at 11% should do the trick quite nicely.
My restaurant got a sample of a UVA beer from Devil's Backbone. I'm not letting our beer manager stock it. Of course we do keep Fighting Hokies Lager in stock all football season.

Absolutely. Toss in the parlay cards I play here in DE, and that's even another one to keep track of. The biggest issue are the line differences. ESPN has Kentucky -20.5 and parlay card has -16.5. 4 is enough to split the difference sometimes.
Switched my pick from ND to Ohio State. Line has gone down to 15.5 too, CJ Stroud and those receivers plus VAs very own Treveyon Henderson can put that on ND.
