I hope if anyone on here lives there is safe. I am sure many of us have either lived there at some point, or have a great memory being there.

Crazy! Saw this on a friend's Facebook. It's rumored it came from someone grilling. Which brings up the question, why are you grilling when it's in the 20's?
Because grilled foods are delicious and should be prepared no matter the temperature.
Why.... why wouldn't you?
My senior year an ice storm shut down our power and water for several days. I hung out at a brother's crib in Terrace View where we cooked out on his grill. Made pancakes one morning. On the grill. It was epic!
As a former resident of 7300-H Foxridge, I'm saddened by this news!
Well usually I have both power and running water so I use a kitchen for cooking. In short, I guess I'm not bro enough. Also I like to represent #TeamNoPants
you can still grill AND be on #teamnopants
its called #teamhardcorebadass
I've been told it's called #teamindecentexposure when in public
I guess it depends where you're grillin'
Boxers or briefs aren't really indecent exposure. Unless you go commando and take off your pants, then you may have a problem.
That's a great gif for #teamnopants! Don't make the mistake of google image searching "free ballin" though. Made that mistake tonight. It isn't worth the turkey legs.
EDIT: For clarification, definitely worth real Lane Stadium turkey legs. Not so much for the virtual ones.
#teamnopantsinsideandoutanytimeanyplace
#myrecordfornotwearingpantswassetbackinfebruarytwothousandandtenwhenididnotwearpantsasingledayanditwaswonderfulaswellasglorious
And the problem is.........?
Unfortunately, at this time of year, I think #teamnopants can be appropriately called #teamraisinets
...because they have a grill.
Ah Foxridge. You'll always hold a special place in my heart. Good thing my old apartment was on the 1st floor and the fire looked to be on the 3rd. I hope everyone involved got out safe
Smoke and water would have created problems in the entire building. Especially in an apartment building with a common attic.
Please make sure you have working smoke detectors and renters insurance.
*friendly firehouse advice
This is true. But I believe the fire was in building 9400? The good ol' 8300 should be ok (I hope)
Also, I dont know what generation you're of, so idk if you'll appreciate this, but your name reminds me of this

This title gave me an 80's pr0n flashback.
It looks completely different from when i was there.. did they put new siding up? I thought they used to be brown
They used to be. They put up new siding on all the buildings. I thought it was a big improvement
Yeah it was. I remember I came back from break one time and our building had changed colors, and I had no idea what had happened.
I think that happened 3 years ago. I remember a friend bitching about how there was crap everywhere from them doing work on the exterior.
Is it sad that all thats going through my head is "I REALLY hope the residents had insurance"...
First thought I had too. *Goes straight to Hell*
Dannngggggg that's a mighty big hole. Hope everyone there is OK.
Roanoke Times reporting that a dozen apartments are affected, 20-30 people displaced, but thankfully no injuries.

I Live in Foxridge and heard a ton of sirens for a good twenty to thirty minutes. Wanted to go walk over and check it out after I got word. Hopefully everyone is okay.
New slogan: Foxridge - hottest apartments in Blacksburg.
Poor taste aside, really hope everyone's alright.
Dang that sucksss
Spent 3 great years in 6400
I really feel bad for these Hokies
6400 was a pretty solid spot. Spent a year and a half there.
Holy freaking crap! I live here and LITERALLY had no idea this happened. WOW
TKP, breaking news all over Blacksburg.
Grilling and #teamnopants?? This is too much for me to handle...
Well, fuck.
I used to live on Foxtrail Lane... good ole Foxridge
^ Former resident of 10800J - best damn time of my life.
Looks like it was 9400 - one of my friends used to live in this building - we'd pactice shoot bow in front, right next to where the farm is.
Lots of alcohol = food = grill
