Pry says Tisdale has a week to week eligibility issue that is being worked on. Is on scout team past week. Blumrick was told by coach to wait until Weekend to say anything about incident. He will have team practice Sunday win or lose to move on to next game.

Thought team pressed too hard at times against ODU.
Depth showed up in the game. Need more reps for backups.
Says O-line didn't sub that he knows of.
Pry said too many penalties, no extra punishments for players. Did have issues with a "few" penalties called or did not see called during game.
Welcome to the ACC where blatent holding hasn't been called on VT in 7 years
Edit: my phones auto correct hates me.
...Sun Belt officials...
Hasn't thought about future of playoffs.
who the heck asked him about the playoffs??
David Teel is the one that asked about the playoff expansion.
I love Teel and I'm sure there's an angle there for a story, but I don't think any team in Virginia should be dreaming about playoffs anytime soon.
100% true but that didn't stop Tony Elliott from letting everyone know he was planning on being in the Natty with UVA this year.
I guess he has access to a lot of tickets.
Because a certain school down the road had their coach going all in about his team having a chance now.
Entirely appropriate use of the gif.
Said he and staff didn't handle clock well.
Yeah it's obvious, but the previous staff I feel like wouldve either deflected blame or avoided the question all together. We knew there was going to be growing pains and coaching mistakes made during his first year. Him owning it and taking responsibility is at least reassuring
Accountability is probably the biggest thing the previous staff lacked the most. Though the ODU loss still stings a little, this is very refreshing.
Hey we're getting closer to finally beating ODU on the road π€¦πΌββοΈ

Said Hokies team return was delayed " quite a bit" because of dealing with locker room break in and police and family.
I am a fan of this practicing on Sunday!
What, no Sunday's off? Need the Sunday off to deliver the quality product the rest of the week.
If you want to rewatch, here's the post game from ODU, and here's the BC presser from Tuesday
Looks like he's still keeping up with the shaving...
keeping the wife happy /s
She'd be happier if she/he knew how to use that beard.
That's why you keep the goatee!
Meh. If you want to be ugly and help the wife out a little bit, maybe. But if you want to be beautiful and keep the wife grinning...gotta go with the beard.
Oh man, we're screwed.
if he stops, we will never lose again.
Trust me on this one
Big mistake. We're fucked.
Another Pry Q&A video from after practice today, sadly still no sign of a beard.
I like this - said there's a lot of things they need to do better. Talked about the snapping problems, and hadn't seen that all spring.
Also concerning, and possibly foreshadowing future of this year is first team is looking good, but just a big drop off between then and second team. That's what a shit roster will give you. And means other schools that can sub in can just wear our starters down and have an advantage over our second team. Buckle up guys, it's likely to be a rough year.
I at least like the acknowledgment that they need to do things better between this and the ODU post-game. Accountability is nice. Hope they follow up with player development and better recruiting...
Straightforward, clear, doesn't dodge any of the questions, just open to discussing the team. Seems to know the personnel of the team very well, which obviously you expect from a Head Coach. But just him discussing the efficiency of short snap vs long snap and how they charted that, instilling confidence in players, etc. Could totally see a head coach just putting that one on his special teams coach and not offering such a detailed response.
This is refreshing. The media guys must absolutely be loving their jobs right now.
It has been refreshing hearing him directly answer personnel questions that I feel like most folks would use a lot more coach speak to answer.
To this point, both Bitter and Niziolek have mentioned how access to players and coaches is actually less than it was under Fuente. Being personable goes a long way apparently.
Give it time and winning to open up access to players.
Not sure this is ENTIRELY true. I seem to recall for like the first 2 years, Fuente allowed approximately zero player interaction. I think Fuente opened it up in later years, but early I'm not sure he didn't even take players to the media days.
Bitter had a Q&A on the Athletic today, and said the player access is about the same between the two regimes.
But was he considering the first couple years under Fuente or just the last few? That was my point. I understand that the access now might be similar to the last couple of years under Fuente, but I thought that was one of the major things about Fuente early was how he shut down almost all access to everyone and everything, then gradually opened up.
So, maybe Even though Pry isn't having a lot of access, maybe he'll open it up, especially after he fixes mentality problems.
He was speaking in general. I think a lot of the early Fuente stuff was more about access to practices, scrimmages, etc., and less about athlete interview availability.
Good honest answers, I feel he's going to turn it around, but the beard/no beard and visor/half hat clearly shows a fear of commitment.
This is the take on visors that I needed in my life
Things will buff out with the program, under CBP, give it time
