What a crazy 4th quarter to get to OT. Quarter started 27-10 Buffalo lead. 4TH and Goal stop by Buffalo at about 3 inch line with 45 seconds left leading 27-24. Buffalo then fumbled snap into endzone where Minnesota recovered for Td. XP made it 30-27 Minnesota. Vikings then played defense like the Hokies to allow Buffalo to tie with 2 seconds left. OT should be fun.

All hokies out of the game.
What ancient Indian burial ground is Lane stadium built on? My goodness this program is jinxed.
Really, what did I miss? What happened to Maine?
Groin injury in first half
Did Tim Settle get injured too? I know he was in early. Darrisaw was being looked at for concussion.
I swear I heard the announcers call his name at the end of regulation for the goal line stand so I think he was still in there
Davis dropped that pass in the 1min drill. I don't know how that wasn't reviewed, it was pretty obvious.
Completey agree. Def not a catch but all reviews have to come from booth. Buffalo got snap off pretty quick.
it is always shocking to me that the booth officials don't see the team rushing their guys to the line and think, "hrm, maybe they aren't so confident in the call on the field. Perhaps we should take a look"
I get that it was in the last minute or so and they would be rushing anyway, but you have to take a look at a play like that. It's mind boggling..
Even the announcers said that should have been reviewed. 20 yard pass on the sideline that looked sketchy at the first glance, it should definitely been reviewed or ruled an incompletion at the start. Glad the Vikings ended up winning in OT, because they actually won in regulation.

Jefferson with the craziest 4th down catch, maybe ever
Yeah one hand versus two...just curled it away from him going to ground. Keeping it from hitting ground too was magic.
It was up there with some other recent memorable ones. Edelman's catch against the falcons, David Tyree against the Pats, and every catch by OBJ
Honestly, no need to add the 4th down qualifier to that statement. That catch was ridiculous in any scenario.
As a Vikings fan, that was an incredible game that I would have been just as pleased with if the bills had pulled it out. They actually went toe to toe against a super bowl favorite instead of squeaking out a win vs a backup QB. That said, I can't handle the Vikings doing this to me every week...
Jalen Hurts for MVP.
Allen fumbled the game away, and when that didn't get the job done he threw it away.
I mean, cosigned, but he's gotta keep his level of play up too

I dropped the station I was listening to this on at 27-10 and picked ut back up in overtime and I was all kinds of confused how the hell it ended like that. Bonkers slipup considering where they were.
even if you went back and looked at the play by play there are soooo many things in those last few
minutesplays that required watching it to understand how insane it was - words dont do it justice. The near TD the Vikings had at the end where Jefferson caught it and it was called a TD then they said he was down at the 1 to make it 4th down instead of the Vikings being up by 3. Then the ensuing 4th down play where Cousins had Cook open at the goal line for an easy TD and he drops the ball. Then that play gets bailed out because Buffalo was offsides, then the next play with Cousins being ruled down inches short of the goal line resulting in the turnover on down, THEN the Buffalo fumble and recovery for a TD... 4 consecutive insane plays that had the winning percentage chance predictions looking like a seismograph. Not to mention Cousins should have run it on the dropped pass play. There wasn't a defender on the right side of the field. He could have walked in.
I still laugh when I remembered that Washington drafted RGIII first and Cousins in the 4th. I told people then that Cousins was the better QB and would outlast RGIII. His play style fits in with what 90% of the NFL teams wanted to do.
This is kind of a bad take. RGIII got injured and ultimately that's what ended his career.
Got injured, was not taken care of properly by the medical staff, and then was allowed to play by the coaching and medical staff even through everyone watching the game knew he wasn't right.
Not referring to his injury. More the play style and consistency that has served Cousins well throughout his career. Even when RGIII was uninjured, Cousins outplayed him during the preseasons.
Vikings +3.5 was a WILD ride
The Vikings season has been really interesting. The offense plays well for the first two or three drives, then they disappear until the 4th qtr.
I'm a Kirk fan so it's good to see him bringing the team back for wins rather than shitting the bed. I'd love to see him win a super bowl. I'm sure that would be a solid knife in the side to Snyder.
As a Vikings fan it's always insanely fulfilling when something good happens to us, instead of something cosmically awful.
On the bright side, maybe now the national media will have to finally admit that the Eagles have beaten a good team.
Always has cracked me up when you hear the "but who have they beaten?" argument in the NFL. To my knowledge, all those other guys get paid too...
This 100%.
Also in the Superbowl era only nine teams ever faced a regular season schedule of .500 or better and won the Superbowl. The 1988 49ers, 1980 Raiders, 1991 Redskins, 1996 Packers, 1990 Giants, 2007 Giants, 2008 Steelers, 1979 Steelers, and the 2006 Colts.
1991 Redskins. Sigh. Those were the days. Thank you Joe Gibbs for a decade of excellence and the best Skins team to ever take the field.
Interesting stat.
I feel like the whole Strength of Schedule talking point is weird, because the better you are...the worse you make your SOS. In this case, the Eagles opponents have a W-L that includes an 0-8 factored in...because of the Eagles.
When the SEC was taking their turn winning the national titles right after USC's dynasty the SEC winner had never beat a 10 win team in the regular season despite multiple 10 win teams in the SEC.
Going undefeated is hard, it's easier when you dodge the best teams.
