Early on it was 14-0 and I thought, man I would be thrilled if football could pull that off against W&M. And then it looked like we would get to 100 by the 8 minute time out in the 2nd half. Another good looking performance by CMY's squad.

Pretty sure they could have hit 100 if Young wanted them too. But he was having to much fun giving every player on the team not redshirting playing time.

While he may not have been on the floor to start the game, that was more strategic on the W&M coaching staff. He is easily one of the top 2 players on the team. He played 25 minutes against Navy but went 2-7 from the field. Against MACU they were winning by 27 at halftime so he only played 17 minutes as the staff emptied the bench for most of the second half.
He won't regularly have 25 point nights but he will average double digits as a norm.

Good to see different players stepping up every game. Any of the starting 5 have the potential to light it up. One thing is for sure, the CMY offense is fun to watch.

I would like to see better defense and rebounding but I know Mike Young will coach up the guys and figure it out. Our offense is crazy good and can probably get us midpack ACC on offense alone.

The Hokies may face Penn State or South Carolina this weekend in the 2022 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic. Not a Quad 1 opponent but either will be better than they have faced to date. They start against ODU on Thursday. Other teams included in this are College of Charleston, Colorado State, Davidson, and Furman.

Follow-up question. Just how bad are the teams we've been playing. Are they all 300 RPI schools? I know Delaware State only had a couple wins last year, but I saw they only lost to Nova by 10.
Just wondering if anything can be gleaned from these games.

Honestly this early in the season RPI is more historical than actual performance. I expect Delaware State by year end will be around 260, William & Mary will stay over 300, Lehigh I am less sure of due to some changes in the conference opponents that will drive where they finish.

JUST KEEP WINNING FAM!!!!!

Always nice when the win percentage graph is a flat line for 40 minutes
When your fourth leading scorer has 13. It's a good night.
Nice to see we are keeping the tradition of letting random white dudes averaging 5 ppg off the opponent's bench drop 20+ on us haha

That's good to know. I wasn't able to watch this one because it was blacked out. Maybe the tradition is dead after all lol
Agreed Anders played great, a lot of those shots were contested. He didn't get wide open more than once or twice to my memory.
Squad looking real good. Rolled Tribe!! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing Rodney Rice in action. MJ Collins looking good.

Good win! GAME STICKS!

@ltrepeter2000 which game will be our first real test? Love the Ws but I have no clue if this team is good or not.

Delaware St: 361st of 363 on KenPom
W&M: 335th
Lehigh: 280th
Its early season still but surprisingly Villanova only beat Delaware St. by 10. For context we are 20 in KenPom and they are 32.
Villanova also lost to Temple, and are breaking in a new coach, so they might be riding on the historical data for now.

OT but Louisville might be riding a bad time heading into January.
I hate Louisville so this pleases me greatly.
