We absolutely need to work on breaking the press, so many times we ended up right where they want us with someone trapped in the corner of the half court and a double team.

I wasn't able to catch the game, but is there any reason Mutts' only points were off 2 FTs? Was he injured or just not "needed" because of the blowout?

He wasn't injured, he just didn't need to shoot in the 2nd half. since we were comfortably ahead. He was being unselfish, passing the ball around, and spent a little time playing in more of a point forward role.

Not to mention Mutts (amongst other of our players) were getting mauled by Dayton. You could see Mutts working hard to keep his cool, keep playin' on, and trying to not draw more fouls by fighting back. Very impressed with how he handled it despite his only points being from the charity stripe.

Mutts usually has wild differences in his points total from game to game. He's done it for a longgg time lol. He has scored 15-20+ and followed it up with a single-digit performance quite a few times.

Maybe...I think if he had been practicing over the summer and early fall, he and Collins are splitting some time.
That said, I LOVE how Collins seems to be growing/improving from game to game. It feels like the biggest growth through the first 10 games seeing his confidence, dunks, energy, and knowledge of what to do in this system. Starting to think his ceiling will be very high!

I agree, although Christian Webster (asst coach) was livid with at least one of MJ's shot choices. I think he's just playing with 500% heart right now and needs to put more head game into it.
