Either this didn't exist when I was in school ('03-'08) or I have some axes to grind with old cohorts who may have forgot to tell me this existed when I had 4 exams in a 24 hour period...wtf

I don't think it started until 04 or 05, but they had some dogs come to the library that you could pet during finals. Then after April 16th there were a ton of them.

All we had in the 90's was the midnight yell. I distinctly remember some dude streaking the Prairie in like 30 degree weather with nothing but a ski mask on in the fall 1995.

Early 80's, we had chainings......anyone having a birthday was subject to being carried out of the dorm in their underwear, and a bicycle chain was run through the underwear, and around a light post, usually in front of female dorm. Only one way to escape that. I fortunately avoided any mention of my birthday for four years.

Full disclosure, I have one of those hats too, and would buy more. I'm bald and sometimes you need a dress cap in the winter. But whenever cabbie or driver or scally caps come up in discussion, I think of this clip.

He's feeling the cheesiest, coach
CHEESE! CHEESE! CHEESE!
Can some explain what 'Cheesy Nights' is...while I go make a grilled cheese
It's a volunteer program that cooks up grilled cheese sandwiches for the students around exam time.

I don't think it was a thing. I was in school from '03 to Dec '07 and the best thing we had was those therapy dogs for anxiety relief in the library.
We had what? I was there in that time frame and had no idea

Had no idea, I graduated in May '07...didn't really spend a whole lot of time on campus after 4/16 though
They have an instagram now that is worth a follow if you like dogs in your feed
YOU KNOW I DO!
@vttherapydogs
Not a thing up until 2013 either.

Somehow I feel gypped reading about these new things. 93-97. I remember the streaker.
All I remember from the late 80's was freezing rain and exams at 8:00 the day after my birthday two years in a row...

You know who's never going to crash cheesy nights? French
And me. Not by choice, but by allergies.
Coach is sporting the official "I'm retired-retired" cap right there. He's looking good!
Damn! I've got one of those hats. What are you saying?
If you haven't scheduled a colonoscopy yet, you should.
That's too funny for words.
Turns out at a certain point, you really don't care what anyone thinks, other than your wife of course.

I wonder what Hank thinks of a trilby
Hank isn't around...
I was thinking we could use a play-by-play analysis by French.
It's clear Beamer can rock that Hall of Fame jacket.
Anyone checked in on French? He might have collapsed after seeing this post.
Luckily he was doing some analysis, so maybe he can ease in.
Sweet College Football Hall of Fame jacket.
Had to take a double look after I read that. Strong flex coach.
My man Beam's looking his age a little bit now, but looks much less stressed. He is genuinely a great man. Much more than a football coach.
The Class Act continues. Thank you HCFB for setting high standards for VT. You are a living Hokie Treasure.
