Rules reminder (changes from Round 1 in italics)
- Pick one team each week. If that team loses, you're out. If that team wins, you move on to the next week. Ties are considered losses, and that participant is out.
- You can only pick each team once.
- If you're the last one standing, you win.
- If you haven't picked by the time the first game to be played that week has started (e.g. the Thursday night game, Bills at Rams, for week one), you can still pick, so long as you pick a game that hasn't started yet.
- If all remaining participants for a week lose or tie (i.e. nobody's pick wins), then that week resets, and those participants move on to the next week.
- You may change your pick, so long as neither your old nor your new picks have started their games. This must be done in a new comment, not by editing your original comment.
- When the game resets (as is happening this week), all previously used teams are available to be picked.

Hey hokiespalante- (also posted in last weeks thread) - being that it's just down to you and me, do you wanna agree that we won't pick the same teams for the last 2 games? I think I know a fair way to do it.....we could both say who our preferred pick is, and if they are the same, Little Bobby Tables can flip a coin to see who gets to use it. Same thing the second week if we both survive, but the other one gets to use their preference if we both want the same pick again. Let know what you think....(LBT said he is good with this in the other thread)
I'm good with that method this week. I think I remember something about picking all the games the last week if still tied after this one and best record from that takes it. I'm flexible though. This week I'll go Chargers as first choice and Jags as second if needed.

Assigned heads to 'topher since it was his idea, tails to 'palante. Flipped a quarter, came up heads. The rest is up to y'all.
I guess I have the Chargers then. 'Palante can choose anybody he wants.....he doesn't have to take the jaguars....(I was a little nervous about taking them as my #2 and may have picked someone else because their game is meaningless this week- its next week that matters for them)
I'm fine sticking with the Jags this week. I say we see what happens now and plan for the final week later if needed.

Sooooo, on to the final week. Several ideas have been kicked around on how to do this. I'm thinking we each make our top 5 picks and put them in order of confidence and go head to head that way from one to five until we have a winner. Kind of sudden death PK style. If still tied, then call it a draw and congrats. I'm just here to have fun and am open to alternatives. Thoughts?
Id be fine with just doing the single pick again with us each making different picks (and you get to pick first this time of course), and If we're still tied we can either call it a draw, or decide to pick the playoff games as confidence picks. I'm a little leery of making confidence picks this week cause of so many teams are already locked/eliminated/resting starters, etc...

Only some team are resting starters. They made the last week division games to try and make the games count.
I think if it's still tied after this week, then you pick playoff games. How that's done, I don't know, but we'll cross that bridge if we get there. I'll work something up to propose if y'all are still tied going into the playoffs.
Edit: standard picking rules this week, except y'all cannot pick the same team. If you both pick the same team and neither want to relinquish it, then that team is disqualified, and y'all pick again. #ParentingNuclearOption
Edit 2: I created a Week 18 thread, here. Added two new rules about not picking same teams in week 18, and playoffs to determine winner if more than one remain after week 18. Place your picks there.

You guys could also just rank your remaining teams in order of your preference to select them.
Then just go down the list with the results until one or both of you lose.
