It was certainly fun storming the field at Lane North and taking down the goalpost in the 1983 Squeaker game my freshman year (won 48-0 by the good guys . 372 yards rushing and averaged about 9 yards on first down. Love to have THAT O-line and running backs again!

I actually think its the next 4 that's revealing; BC, @ND, @GT, Pitt.
Pitt is better this year but every one of those games is winnable. Road games can always trip you up in the ACC but those are schools we should beat. Duke and Miami after this stretch are added resume boosters but we've got some decent Q1 and Q2 wins right now. Stay around .500 in conference with the wins we got and I think that could be enough to get us in the dance. What we can't do is drop games we shouldn't. That stretch of losses in Dec/Jan removed all margin for error. If we drop any of the next 4, especially the first 3, and our tournament chances are likely cooked no matter what happens with Duke and Miami.

What is typical recovery for broken pinky?Rice has gone from large aluminum splint vs Duke to just the finger taped with maybe light splint under yesterday. Pinky has relatively little impact in shooting motion so hoping he may be back sooner than expected

I broke my pinky last year, it was 5 weeks or so for the bone to heal with surgery. I didn't get full range of motion until after getting a 2nd surgery, but thats because I had a lot of scar tissue build up
