The #11/9 Hokies host #9/11 Duke tonight at 7 PM. Hokies are favored by 1.5; over/under is 117.5. Since this is probably the best women's basketball game being played today, it will not be on TV. You can watch on ACCN extra.
When we played them at Cameron Indoor earlier this year, we hung with them for 3.5 quarters; then took two minutes off and lost by 10. Since we are at home tonight, maybe we can play the whole game and get the win.
Since I am on my golf trip, I really don't have time for much else.

If the Hokies are going to win the ACC, they must win this game. Last time out, the Hokies didn't get much offensive production from Kitley or Amoore, in fact, I can't remember a game where Kitley was healthy where she scored less, having made one basket in 35 minutes of action. Duke was led by Day-Wilson's 18 and de Jesus's 10. The Hokies also had a piss-poor shooting night from the field (34.7%) and turned the ball over an unacceptable 17 times.
Sad that the top team in the ACC standings and the 2nd and 3rd highest ranked teams are only on ACC Network Extra
Them: Women's sports just aren't a draw...see? Such bad ratings.
Me: Put them on an actual channel that's part of a real tv package and I'll watch it. I'm not paying more to stream the game than it would cost to go to the game.

We have a 9 versus 11 and our conference can not put this game on its own network or get its TV partner to put it on a channel like ESPNU?
At halftime Duke has almost as many tram fouls as point. Hope the ladies can keep their foot on the blue devils' throat and continue to run them out of the Cassell.

Officials so up and down. 4th Quarter was sloppy but multiple possessions where our shooters hit going up. Gets really old.
At least they were calling some both ways. A lot of bad calls for both teams. We got away with at least one when Gregg jumped up and fell on the back of the Duke player with the rebound. Both players were astounded there wasn't a foul.
It was a great game to be at. We were chanting overrated to Duke at times through the game.

Too bad Louisville couldn't pull it out against Notre Dame last night. Irish got an OT Buzzer beater and stayed a game up on the Hokies in ACC standings.
but they're not really an ACC school, so we're #2..?

We still are #2 regardless but would be 3rd seed as Duke also still has a game on us in standings.
Interesting enough Duke and VT both have remaining games against NC State and UNC. Duke gets UVA next, and we play GT in there I think?
