We ran some action with someone cutting across Kitley and like 3 defenders all fell for that, it was incredible. Did they really think we were going for a 3 when it was a tie game?

Not sure what Kitley's defender was thinking there lol. It looks like for a sec she thought she was supposed to switch on the screen, but really I think the other defender was just trying to momentarily hedge Kitley. Epic shot.
Really bizarre defensive breakdown there. Amoore running away with her back to the basket with 2 seconds left draws the attention of 2 defenders leaving Kitley wide open

Looking at the replay, you can definitely see 31 giving the WTF stare at the guard right after Kitley drains the shot.

Nice to see the team hang in there and pull through after being absolutely mugged all night. It was unbelievable how much the refs swallowed their whistles during the game. We generally do not fair that well when other teams are allowed to play that physical against us, but the women toughed it out. Great game!
Felt like Hodgson should've fouled out- she knocked half a dozen players to the deck all by herself and half of them didn't get called.
Shout out to D'asia Gregg. She shut down Ustby after the 1st quarter with King in foul trouble and forced several turnovers.

I am still angry that ACC network shoved this game to the MASN so most people couldn't watch it so they could show lower ranked Duke beat on NC State rather than a ranked matchup between Tech and UNC.

they played about as poorly of a 1st quarter as you can get. For them to come back from that performance, on the road, and win should speak volumes.
3rd Quarter honestly was uglier than the first offensively. Eight turnovers and really poor ball movement.
Fortunately the Heels were just as bad on offense. They had open looks too but it was broad side of a barn time for both squads.
Damn. Don't watch much WBB, but tuned in for middle part of UNC. Turned it off thinking Hokies were cooked. Great news on the comeback W.
