Haven't seen a thread from the lieutenant so I guess I'll throw up a poor man's thread for the ladies game versus the canes. My prediction is yet another Double-Double from kitley and Hokies win by 8 to send Miami packing.....

It really comes down to poor officiating because the ACC gets essentially the 4th or 5th best group of officials but worse yet does little to evaluate performance with any kind of accountability.

Another surprising aspect is that referees are independent contractors with no union, they pay their own travel costs and refs for women's games tend to get paid less (on average $350 less per game in D1 although in some conferences its as much as $1000 less per game.) Another issue was that Covid forced many referees to find full time jobs to counter loss of income and many did not return.

Sorry I did not do my usual job starting the WBB thread. I was watching the light show at Hollywood Studios in Disney World with my grandsons when the game started. Worked out so well for the ladies that I'm going to Epcot with them during tomorrow's game. Go Hokies. Fam.
