I didn't get a chance to watch yesterday and just finished watching the recording this morning. That 4th quarter from Louisville was some of the worst thug-ball I have ever seen. "Tough defense" my ass - plus they jump at defenders every time they drive. I used to be pretty neutral about L'ville women's hoops, but now they are right up with my burning hatred of their men's program.

Not sure how the hell they didn't look at the monitor and upgrade that two hand push in the back to a flagrant. That was some amateur hour shit from what should be the best refs in the conference in the champ game.

Unfortunately with her grabbing that oblique it can become an issue later on. Adrenaline wears off and muscles stop moving and things tighten up. Hopefully she is good though.

Also Georgia Amoore broke the record (formerly held by a UL player as salt in the wound) for most 3 pt made in the ACC tournament! She should have crushed it, but had a bit of a tired legs day shooting from deep and went 3-10 or so.

One of my neighbors is a huge Washington State fan and we talk football a lot. Ran into him walking the dog this morning and said "I guess we're women's basketball schools now" and I couldn't be happier.
I know there's a lot of angst about the football program, but as a fan base let's not lose sight of how fucking good we are at other sports and how awesome it is.
