Kam at it again - he is quickly becoming my favorite Hokie

How much do the other, former players to reach out to current or committed VT players?

Virginia Tech would walk right up to you and punch you in the neck. They're just tougher. Cowherd 3:16

Kam is da man.

Can we get DuWayne on the basketball team so we can pass The Rock the rock?

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU MET KAM CHANCELLOR!!

the Rock

Chick Patty w/ Cheese

As long as its not on a shallow crossing route over the middle..or anywhere with the ball in your hands..in those cases it does matter.

He lit him up again in the NFC Championship this year if I remember correctly

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

We need this. We need more of our pro guys and our historic players to get vocal about the Hokies and create a culture of inclusion with the rest once you wear the VT. Say what you want about Miami, but their whole branding of "Da U" is pretty awesome, and if we could get a little bit of that kind of swagger going with the likes of Kam, Tyrod, Boykin, and all our other NFL players and alumni, with the recruiters we have on staff right now, we could really develop a bit of a buzz around this program we haven't seen in a while.

This a whole bunch. I always wondered why we didn't have more players share their experience with incoming players. Maybe not during recruiting, but once they accept/commit...

Kam could retire today and be the 3rd most famous VT alum to play in the NFL.

Not many others have Super Bowl winners rings!

DeAngelo Hall may have a bone to pick with you about that one. Definitely top 5 though.

As Ali G. would say, "here-me-now!"

In another five years -as low-key and out-of-the-spotlight this man is, it will be realized how pivotal and invaluable he is to that Seahawks defense and how great of a man he is more so off the field.

Vick may have achieved the mercurial heights of stardom/fandom as a VT alum and Mr. Smith may be the cornerstone of respect and class, and D-Hall could be known as the new breed of (physical/bigger) player for his position... But Kam (if this were a beauty contest) would win once judging rounded up the overall scores from the compensatory rounds as the runaway greatest Hokie.

"...sticks and stones may break my bones but I'm gonna kick you repeatedly in the balls Gardoki!"

Butros Butros Ghali, trow down your guns and play bob Marley!

I think that the recency of his Super Bowl run has clouded some thoughts about the other 2. Bruce is the man, and can be mentioned as one of the best D-lineman of his era and maybe even all time. Before Vick killed his career (and dogs) in that head shaking catastrophe of poor decisions; the NFL and their marketing machine was grooming him to be the face of the league, not just the Falcons, the entire NFL. He was right there with Peyton manning. I think he had just posted a 1,000+ yard rushing, 1,000+ yard passing season, had minted a 9 figure deal to be Atlanta's QB, released his own Blacksburg edition of Nike's, was freaking everywhere on TV in adds for all sorts of things.

I know Qb is the glamour position, and safeties don't get the love they should for their impact. But no way Kam takes over the top spot. Unless Seattle rips off a 3 peat and Kam wins some defensive player of the year awards and a Super Bowl MVP. And even then, people will still be talking about Vick and "what he could have done" instead when they think of VT football and its impact on the NFL.

Kam doesn't have Marcus for a brother.

Advantage: Kam.

Did you guys see his VT helmet in that Twitter comment? I guess I'm a dufus, but why the red/white uni?
What am I missing?
Nice VT PR though and hopefully attracts a few players his size to VT in the future. Nice start already!
