Another weapon on the wing 🔥Welcome to #HokieNation, Matilda Ekh! pic.twitter.com/BPBebO5miJ— Virginia Tech Women's Basketball (@HokiesWBB) April 21, 2023
A two-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention performer, Ekh was fourth in the league in 3-pointers per game this season. She's a solid rebounder (3.1 per game), has good vision (2.1 assists per game), can play good defense and will complement Cayla King nicely on the wing. #Hokies— David Cunningham (@therealdcunna) April 21, 2023

Hey Kenny, who ya getting in the portal?
40% from 3?! If she can drive to the rim 2-3 times per game, she is the perfect replacement for Traylor.
Rip Cassell coliseum 3 point arc
Great get to either pair with King or give her minutes. I also love that she also has 2 years remaining as well.
I'm also liking that every single one of our additions has been from a power five conference.
Ekh gon' give it to ya, she gon' give it to ya; Ekh gon' give it to ya...
Remember when Coach Brooks said they hadn't really looked at the portal, but they had a good excuse they could use when reaching out to recruits?
"Hey, so we've been a little busy winning the ACC and making it to the final FOUR. How would you like to join us?"
I imagine Kenny's pitch looks something like this/:
And yes, I know King is coming back as well. Friggin loaded.
Not sure it needs it's own thread but it looks like Maddie Vejsicky has transferred out.
It was posted earlier that she was leaving. I guess she never got the defense/ball handling down as she had a nice three point shot in warmups every game.
Yeah I think the fact she is going to have to compete for a starting role at San Diego is enlightening.
And 4 open spots left to fill? Sheeeeeeeeeesh
Watch us Ekh out a 'SHIP NEXT YEAR
That would be Ekhcellent.
They seem to be getting all of the right players, I just hope the chemistry is there and that all these additions work out. I have high hopes for next season but I know South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, Ohio State, and Miami are also building up their rosters too.
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll.
But I'm glad they're going to try.
