I mean i think everyone was kind of expecting it. He is buried on the Depth chart. I wish him luck and i hope he finds a place to play a lot of snaps.
Kudos to Taj for sticking it out and being willing to compete. These days, a lot of guys would have jumped at the first hint of adversity.
Kid is big and athletic. He could have contributed at another position, although it's probably a little late to make a change now. Wish Bullock all the best!
And, even with Bullock leaving, there are five scholarship QBs on the roster. Unless they see one or two of those guys who are plus athletes and can play different roles, I think at least one more moves on. Which is a bummer, because Wittke, Watson, and Farrell have all shown flashes of impressive athleticism.
Based on the depth chart, I would expect Wells and Drones to get the bulk of the snaps this season. I know Watson looked better than Farrell at the Spring Game, but allowing Wittke and Watson to redshirt may benefit us more in the long term, simply by spreading out the classes.
In 2024, we're looking at r-Jr Drones, r-So Farrell, r-Frs Wittke and Watson and Fr Belfort, so we'd be in pretty much the same situation that we're in now.
Wells could potentially stay in 24 as well. I think if Drones doesn't get the job this year he's gone. next spring

I saw this coming. He has the size and athleticism too find a spot. Has plenty of arm strength, but looked like he needed the reps to refine his decision making and he is unlikely to get them with the depth that is building here.
Good luck Tahj. Pretty clear that things were not going to work out here. Hopefully he can find a place to play and have a successful career.
Props to him for sticking it out as long as he did and battling, but the writing was on the wall, floor, and ceiling. Wish him the best and hope he can find a place to show out.
