Mekhi Lewis is coming back!

I wasn't expecting to see this. Hadn't heard any rumblings.

My gosh. Feels like he has been here for a decade.

Mind you, I'm not complaining, just amazed. Has he gotten a Ph.D. at this point?

For the wrestling gurus out there, does this make financial sense? It would seem to me that it does. I can name a few college wrestlers and have watched it on TV from time to time. I couldn't name a single pro.

I asked a buddy who won state in high school and he told me a story about a guy going to WWE rather than trying to turn pro or make the Olympics because the money just wasn't there.

With all that in mind, is there any chance that with NIL he actually makes as much or more at VT?

If Lewis wanted to compete for World and Olympic Teams then SERTC would pay him a good salary as a resident athlete. If he will make more as a VT student depends on how much NIL money is coming from sources other than the SERTC.

Awesome! WE are going to be stacked next year. Beware the portal!
