Ah, I miss Greg Nosal. Dude was tough as nails, glad he is back as a GA.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

Let's See:
1. Moorehead gets one of his receivers at Stanford to come to Tech as a GA on the offensive side. [Note: D. Terrell had 4 punt returns with a 9 yd/return average against VT in the Orange Bowl.]
2. We have Nosal on the offensive side as well (obviously working with Searel on OL). A real VT OL stud!
3. We have an ex-Panther GA OL GA working with the defensive line.

It all sounds real good. Like pie!

Again, Moorehead doing the work and some real passion in the GA ranks. Gotta love it.
Andy is keeping us sane, Thanks Andy!

Does anyone happen to know how exactly one becomes the GA of a program? Seems like most are former players, but one guy was just a volunteer in the athletic department (after playing somewhere, I believe).

Does this mean Ryan Pugh is leaving the team or did they give him a permanent position since he is not eligible to be a GA anymore? Seemed like a good guy to have around...

I believe he's looking for a full-time coaching gig, which obviously isn't available at VT.

Everyone seems to have forgotten that Nosal came to us as a 255 pound TE who was converted to the OL. Loved the way that guy played - very tough, and never quit until the whistle blew.

Lanier was another TE we converted to the OL out of that 2007 Class. We also landed multi-year OL starters Dechristopher and Brooks that year.

Not sure if we are forgetting rather than not wanting to remember how shite our OL recruiting was during that time

Okay

This funny but he's right, lest we forget what could've been with LT3 and (I'll warrant) T-Mobile.
