Clever article. I liked it, he made clear he was using his own metrics; which were internally consistent and I think actually useful. Good find.
Any idea how he selected the two groups? Seems like K. Fuller bested both. I asked him on Twitter if he had considered who was on the other side of the field, since Kyle defended well, but still seemed to get a lot of targets. You would think they'd throw somewhere else.
That is a very interesting point. Getting targeted often when you are getting your hands on 1 out of 3 passes suggests you are lined up on the best receiver, or at least the quarterback's favorite target.
Well, I'd say they had to toss to him because the other Fuller and Fascyon were on the other WRs.
There was no good place to throw the ball when he was in the game.
