Still not sure exactly what happened with the other pitching coach, but it clearly affected the team down the stretch, which is a shame given how well the offense performed.

The new guy seems like a "homerun" based on what he did with Mississippi State. I also like that he is big into technology. There is a good free article about him on TSL.
