I believe they removed it entirely actually, but you obviously still have to comply with the overall scholarship limit.
They suspended in for two classes, which I think this is the 2nd year, but not sure. Yes, the 85 still applies. When the suspension is complete then either the NCAA removes it again, or we have to comply again.
I think it returns in either '24 or '25. Not sure when it applies again.
to be fair, with the 2023 class enrolled I think we've already flipped ~40% of our roster compared to last season, so even just one more class of 20ish signees and then another offseason of transfer will like put the roster turnover between 2024 vs. 2022 over 75% percent I'd bet.

It's a pretty standard way that high schoolers project humility and confidence at the same time.
