Today(Friday) at Hokie there was supposed to be a Chalk Talk for the Miami game tomorrow, but it got canceled, because of the snow. However, no one told Coach Johnson, and when he showed up nothing was set up, no one was there, and our manager had to tell him it got canceled, so he went and got some lunch, and sat by himself at first, but then with some students. It was kind of sad to watch. You would expect some better communication for a coach of the future.
Edit:Not really serious speculation. Just kind of funny.

You sure he didn't just have his heart set on chick-fil-a and decided to show up anyways? I know I wouldn't want to cancel my plans to get a chicken sandwich.
I immediately recognized this as not the real thing due to it's lack of improper grammar.
"Loose one turn."
Well, considering what happened with Greenberg, I wouldn't worry until a press conference is announced saying a big sports announcement is coming.
Everytime they do that all I can think is "Stick it in stick it in stick it in"
I feel sorry for Coach Johnson. He came in to a bad situation and has not had the support to make it any better. This is embarrassing for him, for the team, for the athletic department, and for the school.
What you stated , covered it all. Sad but true .
I guess they should just cancel all the Chalk Talks
No practices, unannounced cancellations of coaches events, and we win.
Are we sure we're doing this hoop-sphere thing right?
Well, it was Miami....
Who is one year removed from a conference championship.
They lost the entire team that played last year.
Yes, and I'm aware that they're 3-9 or so.
I was just trying to put a positive spin on the whole situation.
How many students are showing up for the chalk talk these days? I have to imagine the student interest is at about an all time low right now.
The real reason it got cancelled is because the one kid who comes to these was snowed in.
It's hard to tell interest because they do it at noon when most students are in classes.
Or just getting out of bed
