Kenny Brooks, the head coach of the Virginia Tech women's basketball program, has signed a three-year contract extension director of athletics Whit Babcock announced Monday. The extension keeps Brooks in Blacksburg through March of 2029.
Highlights of the contract include a six-year deal totaling $6.4 million, as well as other enhancements made to support staff salaries, assistant coach salary pool, postseason bonuses and operating budget
Well deserved keeps him here long term and increases his overall budget.

I would much rather beat her cleanly and be able to say we don't have to run a crooked program like you to win.
Meh, I'd rather just win. The only people who truly care about running a "clean" program are those looking for an excuse to why they weren't able to win.
Plus, with the advent of NIL and the NCAA doing fuck-all to reign that under control and multiple laws being passed to actively prevent any attempts at oversight, there literally is no such thing as a dirty program anymore.

Nah- let's cheat. Like UNC and Tennessee do in the open. You know who cares? Rival fans- that's it. If we cheat openly in womens hoops like Mulkey does and we win a title, the only people pissed- including the NCAA- is hard corps UVA fans. I say cheat- often.
I'd rather win and worry about those battles later... Most, if not all, programs "cheat" in some way or fashion. Now whether it's a big enough red flag for NCAA to notice/investigate is another story, but I highly doubt VT has completely clean hands.
Even when schools get hit with suspensions, bans, penalties, etc., most other fan bases (especially outside your conference/rivals) don't care after years have passed.
Maybe not all stops, let's not go full Tonya on them. Just you know pay for players and have great tutors and the normal stuff.

Correct. Harbaugh cheats in the open at Michigan. He is going to be suspended 4 games against cupcakes and we move on. Awesome, looks like that will push him into the top-10 highest paid women's basketball coaches when compared to salaries from earlier this year. I really hope he can continue this massive push even after Kitley and then Amoore are gone.
