Watching Louisville handling Murray State. Nothing big stand. Jordan their running back is blazing fast.
Looking forward to Da U and A&M this weekend. Really hope JMU wipes the floor with the BooHoos. Also want to see how Pitt does against Cincy.
What is everyone else looking to catch this weekend?

Lots of intriguing matchups this week!
Interested to see the newest iteration of NU & Colorado. Will probably only catch the updates and highlights, but it's always good to see old rivalries played. We'll probably learn a lot about NC State in their matchup with Notre Dame.
UM & Texas A&M play in the hype bowl, while Tulane and Ole Miss sneakily have a ranked matchup. And there's always El Assico if you like watching sloppy football and punting.
Later there's Texas Alabama and several other fairly interesting matchups (App State vs UNC).
And two ACC after dark matchups follow that! Stanford faces USC out of the Big Ten and Cal faces Arizona State out of the Big 12.
Did we have to start this now? Jeesh, thanks for the indigestion.
Maybe they do, but they're not ACC. Yet.
Detroit looks pretty solid. Dan Campbell is my favorite NFL coach.
I like Campbell. Hard not to feel for Mahomes. The young WR's let him down over and over again.
Toney gets the gold star here....at least four drops, three of them first downs.
And I think it was Toney whose drop ended up in the hands of Brian Branch and his team's endzone.
It was. Ball was perfectly thrown, he just flubbed it.
I was happy to see the Chiefs lose. I was kind of surprised it looks like he has an all new WR crew.
Alas, heading to the beach this weekend for our annual weekend after Labor Day trip to the Jersey shore. Probably won't get to see anything.
For the VT game, cheer twice as load and drink twice as much for me.
From the Duke's movie Fort Apache:
Louisville v Mercer was such a weak game for a thursday night. Boring as hell. But Thrash is gonna be a problem when we play them. That dude is fast!
That offense is going to be a problem for us. It will test the defense at every level, and as many mistakes as Plumer makes, he makes just as many amazing throws.
Unless we can win a shootout, or unless our defense suddenly "figures things out" I'm not sure we have a huge chance in that matchup.
So I should hold off on looking for tickets...?
I'm sooo glad we didn't have Kansas Illinois in the pick'em
My favorite part of that game was the Kansas student section screaming basketball heckles after a penalty
My favorite part was the police/security guarding the goal posts after the game with a near empty stadium....place looked like a Wahoo Spring Game.
Another absolutely ridiculous Targeting review in Kansas-Illinois game.
Very hard but 100% clean hit on Illinois QB. Literally shoulder pad to mid-section.
Not called on field but went to review after Bielema came out complaining.
At this point, they just need to get rid of Targeting as it has gotten to the point of absurdity.
I 100% do not know what targeting is.
I feel like at the end of every season I start to understand the rule then the next season starts and its not even remotely the same enforcement
I think it's generous to call it a rule at this point, it is so inconsistently applied and interpreted that it's more of a vague suggestion at this point.
It's essentially become "we didn't like how that looked" so we'll just call it Targeting.
The latest targeting the defender was planted, not moving, waiting for the reciever to run into him and he the reciever with his shoulder.
EDIT: I do want to add there was the phantom call on Kansas #1 too where they just tacked on 15 yards for nothing.
I prefer the "I think you hit somebody too hard too close to the head" rule
Targeting = hit stick
If it's a hit that gets the crowd excited, it's a flag. I blame the fans
My TV must suck because I have no clue how the refs are calling this game.
The new entrance song for GameDay is BORING.
The old one used to give me goosebumps, but this new one sucks. College football just gets worse and worse, sadly.
Potentially unpopular opinion, but I like it. It isn't as good as the old one (remakes rarely are), but I don't despise it like I thought I would when it was announced.
Whoops, I forgot about this one. Didn't see it on the front. My bad
Clemson has been struggling with Charleston Southern so far. Still in the 1st quarter, but they're having a hard time doing anything.
Klubnik threw a bad pick 6 and ChaSo is winning 14-7.
I doubt they lose, but it is certainly troubling for their fans to be struggling with some of the same issues in game 2.
Weather delay in Lane Stadium North with LOLUVA leading 35-24 over JMU.
For once the ACC had forethought. They saw these bad storms coming through the east coast and said "both coasts can't be having bad weather at the same time, right?!"
Colorado is so far removed from actual football in Boulder that a bunch of their fans tried to rush the field with time still on the clock.
Colorado is rushing the field after a win as a ranked team over an 0-2 team? Dafuq?
They were pretty bad last year...
The Coach Prime hype ia gonna be completely out of control here soon.
Look for the copy-catting to start.
First, hire flashy coach. Then, run off majority of underperforming players, leaving them with no landing spot and no scholarship.
Coming soon: Coach Terrell Owens and Coach Ochocinco.
No offense to T.O. or Ochocinco but they don't have anything on Primetime.
They were talking about Colorado being a top 10 team. WTF, they beat a team that lost just about everyone from last year and a team that haven't had a winning season in who knows how long. Look they've been better than I thought but top 10 based on beating two teams that aren't that good this year, ridiculous.
JMU fan noise at UVA just caused a UVA false start lol.
Let's go Dukes!!
Let's go JMU!! Up (amount pending extra pt) with :55 to go in the 4th.
And JMU almost lost it on the failed 2 pt conversion
LOLUVA!
Serious question - is JMU the best program in the state right now?
elated that uva lost but shoutout to Hollins. Overcoming everything this offseason and getting two tuddy's. Love to see it.
Watching Big Ten football on CBS is really weird. Going to take some getting used to.
Sheesh GT is dominating Beamerball Jr
EDIT: I am an idiot, they're playing South Carolina State
I saw the same thing. I was about to comment about how Shane's having a really rough start to the year.
Ole Miss Tulane did not disappoint....wish the Green Wave could have won but still a real good game.
Serious injury in the Miami game. Didn't see what happened
yeah that's the SEC's pride that got injured
+1 for making fun of aTm.
But there was a long delay and both teams were on the field as one Miami player (Kitchen?) had to get put on a stretcher and carted off the field.
Miami might not be bak but their next few weeks stack up favorably for them to start 5-0.
Appy & UNC in OT
Washington St up on Wisconsin 24-6 near the half but it looks like Wisconsin is threatening.
I hate Wisconsin.
Washington St finishing off the game against the team that cancelled our home and home a dozen times (maybe more, I'd have to check). Go Cougs.
Inject this ish straight into my veins.
I hate Wisconsin
Anyone watching the Pat McAfee Texas/Bama stream? I hate McAfee on Gameday, but I kinda like him in this role on an alternative broadcast.
I am now, no way he can be worse than the standard announcers
Follow up: He was better than the announcers, he is like a kid in a candy store that just hyps up everything. Every candy is the greatest candy ever to him. He was so pumped for one of the punts, which being a punter I understand, but you never hear that. He just promotes the game so much better than the announcers. the only thing I didn't like was most of the time I dont need to see him and the other guys, so make the game bigger.
What I really need is an alternative broadcast with the Shutdown Fullcast folks
As long as it's not whoever has been doing the BXII for exclusively coach prime. I don't have enough energy to listen to him emote about 2nd and 3 screen that gets 4 yards.
Meanwhile FSU goes for it on 4th down four straight times against Southern Miss and converts all four ....and then followed it up with a successful onside kick.
Keon Coleman on FSU just put on a sideline clinic. Juked his first defender while tightroping sideline and then straight hurdled the next guy.
Tackling in the Alabama vs Texas game has been optional. And the same in the Texas A&M and Miami game. That Miami touchdown to seal it at the end was such a pathetic tackling attempt by the A&M safety.
Yeah 29 total points in first three quarters now 29 points in 4th quarter alone. Texas putting them away but still alot of time.
5 TD's in the last 7 minutes. Texas vs Bama is getting crazy.
Oregon TT down to a one-score game with just over a minute left
I know this may come as a complete shock to those here, but the Brad Cornelson era at Sam Houston St. appears to be off to a rocky start.
Today vs. Air Force, they exploded for an offensive output of 80......yes, that is one 8 followed by one 0....Yards.
What happened to Brendan Armstrong? Did Tony Elliott break him? Does he need recievers who shit their pants? He didn't even complete 50% of his passes. He has 31 rushes, while the running back has 20. Even if you add in the #2 back it's 31 to 32. That's not a good break down.
Were they at now? Just need context
Armstrong is at NC State with his former OC Anae.
Right that tracks. Thanks
Notre Dame secondary is really good so not that surprising he didn't complete 50%. His receivers couldn't get any separation but he was forcing things on at least two of the interceptions. He threw 47 times vs 12 runs though. Does seem like he thinks he needs to do more but half his runs last week were passing plays that broke down. Basically was the same against Notre Dame. States OL isn't doing a good job on the edge so forcing him out of the pocket on almost every play.
FSU up 52-3 with over 11 minutes left in 3rd Quarter. Backup QB comes in and throws a 45 yard TD on first play.
We have the same record as Bama.
Bring on Bama lol
