Came here to post this.
WELP
Darling...
Because you break them, I had to take them...
The numbers always work out? *ducks*
Time to add Mekhai White. #quack
Rumor is he violated team rules....
This is the kind of inside info I come for
And big, if true.
(that's what she said...)
Maybe it's cause he made an "explosive" running play? Or a great read on the read option? /s
Fuck.
Not knowing the circumstances, really hoping it's something he can work out and it won't taint the team. It's not healthy to have my mature emotions wrangled by the activities of teenagers/young men on and off the field.
Uh huh huh huh. Huh huh huh. You said "taint".
The brigtest glimmer of promise in the pipeline, and now it's gone. What kind of billygoat curse is on this program?
Oh great, exactly what we need
This gif confuses me. Angels? In the ALDS? I thought they were barred from postseason play.
We barely knew ye....
GOD DAMMIT
Chatter is that it was a curfew violation, but "indefinitely" sounds pretty bad so who knows
I read the same thing in another place, and had the same exact thought.
I've noticed more initial suspension announcements are "indefinite" just to get the word out. If it is really just a curfew deal, it will likely be pretty short.
But wouldn't you have a set punishment for a simple curfew violation?
Maybe it's like VT12 says a bit a down the thread - Pry is sending him a message that there are no "simple" team rule violations.
Or maybe he was night putting with the 15 year daughter of the dean...
And simple would be 15 minutes late. Not simple would be 4 hours late and still drunk.
Leg for the Caddyshack reference!
They say that when you point at someone else you have three more fingers pointing back at you, and with my memory not so good anymore, I could swear that is an Animal House reference, not Caddyshack. Both are excellent movies, but only one carried the apropos advice for all of us in light of the Pop Watson news: to "start drinking heavily."

This is the Animal House quote/scene you're thinking of: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077975/characters/nm0000004
Ha ha but didn't someone else in the scene correct Otter's pre-med statement to say that Bluto was in pre-law instead, to which Otter replied, "same difference" or similar ?
That's the scene at the Greek council hearing.
Obviously I need to sit down and watch Animal House and Caddyshack again, start to finish. Or start drinking heavily. Or both.
Both. Definitely both. But not at the same time.
One will help my memory, the other will kick it while it is already down.
Sorry, I shorted my answer. Don't watch BOTH at the same time. Definitely drink during both.
I thought the same thing, but Animal House the guy brings the deans 16 year old daughter to the frat party. Night putting is Caddyshack
Hence my hesitation to say anything. But it was worth it in the end to relive highlights from two great movies
If it's that, maybe they should work on their messaging, instead of scaring the hell out of us.
We've seen some stuff.
Time for Bitter to be checking the police blotter?
I'd assumed that AB has a twice-daily update sent to him directly by all of the area departments.
Sounds like it will be a very short term deal, curfew violation. Pry likely sending a message since Pop is next in line right now.
that is a relief, and thankfully makes my initial reaction seem dramatic.
But you really can't blame me, it's been a long decade
I'm hearing the same. I get sending a message to Pop, but does he have to give the fanbase a heart attack in the process??
Indefinite suspension is the new convenient suspension. It allows the team to decide to let the player come back whenever they need them. If you say two weeks, then bring them back early, it makes you look like you're letting the player off easy.
Had it been something bad, it would have been a violation of university policy, not team rules. Mook's was university policy where he was charged with a felony. That particular policy is very "guilty until proven innocent."
I was just thinking the other day it seemed like it had been awhile since we had any locker room/off the field issues.
Well stop thinking that and start thinking about how it's been awhile since we won.
you got it, here's to thinking a run at an ACC title is still in play...THIS YEAR! /s
Isn't it technically doubly in play this year since we don't have to win a division to go? We can't lose (anymore)!!!
I'm sure it's going to be okay. It's probably not like he got in a fight at a volleyball team party or something like that.
Or held up the basketball team with an airsoft pistol.
Or set off a can of pepper spray at BDubs
This at least sounds like he plans on taking ownership of the matter and hoping to bounce back from it at Virginia Tech.
siap...per kolby crawford's thread (vt scoop), he was at tech talk live
Maybe some people may have helped him with that response (maybe not), but regardless, it takes a big person to admit to their mistakes and has the desire to learn from them
which sucks from a societal point of view, because telling the truth and owning up to failures to then learn and grow from them make the situation SOOOOO much easier to deal with
WW3 is such a sweet handle though
If the rumors of it being a curfew violation are true, I am reading "indefinite" to mean it's a one game suspension, but if Drones gets hurt against Marshall, it might be a one half suspension, or one quarter, lol
If he travels. Given it's Marshall, we shouldn't be limited on number, but he still might not go.
Not to mention that we know that Wells can play if needed. It sounds like he just might be a little limited due to the injury.
Nah, Locklear gonna be QB2
Well it sounds like from Pry and the TSL guys that he was neck and neck with Wittke to begin with so sounds like it's Drones, Wittke, injured Wells, Locklear
My girlfriend made me start watching Friday Night Lights so its probably just steroid use or beating up a kid in a parking lot.
It's a little (lot) soapy but there is sort of football in it. It's not not worthwhile, but you can get through without paying too much attention which is also nice.
My "girlfriend" made me watch it too.
Haha! It's definitely a mid day style show. I told her it was just entertaining enough for me to be curious as to what's going on in the next episode. I worked the whole time while watching.
Putting girlfriend in quotes was an interesting grammatical choice, but I wish y'all the best. Whatever you choose to be.
His dog made him watch
His palm made him watch. ;^)
How could a tree do that?
How did your right hand force you to watch FNL? Weird.
Alright I'm a little concerned about y'all at this point. While I'll admit the ladies on the show are qualified, I really don't think it's that hard to recognize "girlfriend" was a reference to guilty pleasure tv as in, "oh no I've never watched the bachelor"; meaning I absolutely watched all the episodes of my own volition, even the stupid assault/murder ones. And seriously the show really hits its stride with Michael B Jordan as QB for the Lions.
Nooo! Nooo! We cannot have a worse conference record that the Hoos!
The Whoos managed to make themselves lose a winnable game yesterday.
