Week 3 Recap
No one had a perfect week, but going 5-1 was HortHokie and Jeff Davis (you can update CBS with your TKP name in the "My Entry" area of the Pick Six page) who had a late start but is making up ground fast. Blame Tennessee, so business as usual.
Everyone else who made picks got at least one right.
The season standings currently are:
1st (Tied) - Hokiespalante, HortHokie, and Griggsy
4th (Tied) - Dkf, Harrinpa, and King James
And then the rest of us schmucks.
This week I'm giving everyone's Hokie Heart a break and abstaining from selecting VT's game.

Teams within 9 spots of each other with a 22 point spread? We are in strange times indeed, but I guess hats the Deion effect.
I was very much on team "let's just pick the VT games each week" before the season started, but I looked at the line movement for Marshall this morning and got a little mopey about having to make that pick, so thanks for pulling it from the rotation this week.
Oklahoma at Cincinnati (OK -14.5) - I hate 14.5 pt spreads
FSU at Clemson (FSU -2.5) - I feel like FSU stomps klempsin or Clemson returns to clemsoning and loses by 3. Either way I'm here for it.
Ole Miss at Alabama (Bama -6.5) - Lane Train go toot toot
Colorado at Oregon (Oregon -21.5) - who knows with this team, but I don't think sunglasses hut is going to keep up without Travis Hunter
anOSU at notre dame (OhioSt -3.5) - ND is overrated as usual

Update: I actually have an interesting BOTW this week. I haven't seen a craft ESB in the wild in at least 5 years. Super pumped for this pickup.
Well apparently I did not make picks on cbs in what would have been my best week this season, but I did make progress on the trophy. Polling the crowd for was they want the treadmill to say.
This is the most recent prototype.
I tried to make the top look like Lane's scoreboard. Obviously need to fix the font to make it readable, but want to know what y'all want on your trophy. I went away from the fighting gobbler because it got pretty phallic, the failed prints will be posted later. Once I get the treadmill drilled down I have a few choices for how majestic we want the horse to be, but we'll cross that bridge later.

If you're gonna put a horse on the treadmill then I should look like the field. If not just write "horse"
So this is the print that the trophy is based on.
I like the idea of making the treadmill the field, but I am not skilled enough to make that a reality.
I hated all my picks last week and went 2-4. I like this week a lot better.

Ole Miss at Alabama (Bama -6.5) - I think bama bounces back a bit and holds Ole Miss just when people think Saban is holding on too tight a la Maverick in Top Gun
Colorado at Oregon (Oregon -21.5) - I don't know if CU wins it but I think they keep Oregon to less than 21.5 pts. Will be interesting to see CU w/o Hunter.
anOSU at notre dame (OhioSt -3.5) - I think Our Lady gets the win.
Iowa at Penn State (PSU -14.5) - I think Iowa's defense can hold PSU closer than 14.5 but Iowa will never really be able to threaten PSU. But then I think PSU may just run away with.
Colorado is getting a lot of points.....
Cincinnati gets the points but OK gets the win

In a dark Disney cross-over episode of "Picksburg"..........Baloo & Bagheera combine in an effort to take over the western part of town only to be thwarted Sooner than expected when the townspeople circle their wagons. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Pocahontas has a Seminole moment when she has to put down a rabid Tigger, to stop his bouncing rampage. At the planetarium, Rebels shoot down Dumbo, who they suspect of being an imperial spy. On Main Street, Colonel Sanders tries to bring in more customers by serving Buffalo flavored duck while the police search for Donald Ducks missing nephews. And because no crossover is complete without including the Marvel Universe, Hawkeye teams up with leprechauns trying to recover their gold from the Winter Soldier (Buckeye) and Scar, the Lion King's evil uncle. Unfortunately, Buckeye and the lions prove too powerful so Hawkeye and his allies are forced to retreat to their mid-west strong hold.
