I apologize if this was already posted on TKP somewhere, but I couldn't find it and had to make it known that we beat Pitt's ass so bad they aren't just benching Jurk, they are pulling a VT special and lining him up at TE lol
On Wednesday morning, Phil Jurkovec informed his teammates that he would no longer be Pitt's starting quarterback. Just one day later, he officially began working at an entirely new position.
Multiple sources informed the Post-Gazette that Jurkovec will move from quarterback to tight end. One source told the Post-Gazette that Jurkovec was running routes with the tight ends during Thursday's practice

Pitt seems like a totally dysfunctional mess.
While we aren't totally back to the Foster era defenses, at least we are making QB's change position. I know this ball was already rolling, but nice to slam dunk it into oblivion.
Looking for the positives here.
Marcolini did in fact call attention to that in his article this morning
or breaking Phil Jurkovec so completely that he actually moved to tight end after the game
Certainly this level of disgrace bestowed upon a Pitt (former) quarterback deserves its own thread though, right?
Damn, I even read that this morning. Well anyway let's keep dunking on Pitt and if you haven't already go read Brian's article, as always, it's well worth the time.
I'm here for all the dunks
During the broadcast, I think they said this was Jurkovec's 3rd or 4th time playing against VT in Lane since he had played at BC as well. Most players would get 1 or 2 opportunities to go against Lane stadium. We broke him.
If he dies, he dies.
We Killshot him into a different position like Eminem did to MGK
The lesson here is endless fucking nonsense eligibility. He should be working a job- 3 years ago. FFS
There's the DCWilson40 we know and love... AND he's right, you know...
Working out for LT3!
But LT3 was actually recruited to tech as a TE. Just moved to QB b/c we had no other.
Once you step into Blacksburg, the demarcation between QB and TE vanishes quickly.
But seriously, DC hit the point here...the current nearly unlimited eligibility is becoming almost like a social safety net for 25 y/o who aren't good enough to ever make real money playing football but don't want to go get real jobs
Also, thanks to Wild West of NIL and transfer portal a portion of these guys: (1) don't really have any practical education or job training after spending 1 year at 4 different institutions (2) stand to make as much or more in NIL so have no incentive to move on.
Sounds almost like minor league baseball, weird. π€
I think NIL competes with, if not outright beats the hell out of a minor league paycheck which is $60k/year max.
What losin' to VT does to a mfer
Then you do the Hokie Pokey
And you force the QB out
That's what it's all about
