Durkin and Ford sound confident in willing to win an ACCCG and National Championships. I could see the two of them playing at the same time. One is finess and the other is power.

Preface: I'm not against a 2QB system..nor am I really for it. I don't know enough about football to have an opinion either way. I'm not trying to be snarky here with my question...I honestly want to know.
Has a team ever won a national championship while employing a 2QB system? (Too lazy to look it up. I also don't have a ton of time..trying to get my TKP fix in early before heading off to work)
Thanks :D

The 2012 RB platooning frustrated nearly everyone because it didn't allow momentum to build and it set our running game back. Apply that to the most important position on the field, and it'll be exponentially worse. One QB is the only way we have success.

Noticed his concentration on running the ball in that video. Not much discussion on his passing abilities, which I am sure he has. I'm just saying what I hear. This info could be a nugget that is important based on the transfer QB pursuit discussion in another thread. Lots to pay attention to during this slower football time.
I'm sure he will contribute. He is a big guy!!

florida won it with chris leak and tim tebow splitting snaps.
Man. We should find out who the coached the QBs for Florida and hire that guy!
Pst, it wasn't Loeffler.
I was aiming in the direction of a joke, took a shot, missed.
Florida in 2007 played both Chris Leak and Tim Tebow. That's the first one that comes to my mind
I did not know that. Thanks guys!

We're going to win it with Bucky Hodges and Kalvin Cline

Not only can two QBs be successful, but wasn't Loeffler at UF when Leak and Tebow won a national championship?
I think Duke surprised a lot of people last year with a good defense and a strong red-zone package using two QBs to win the coastal.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions about two QB's not working out, esp. if they have different styles of play.
Loeffler was the QB coach at Michigan when UF won that national title. Loeffler only coached Tebow for his senior year.
Good call.
Still, its clear that 2 QBs can be successful.
