First note - Starfield's hype was justified... IF you are a fan of the games Bethesda usually turns out (Elder Scrolls & Fallout specifically). There's a lot to offer in terms of the story (or stories), and I have gotten lost for hours working on ship construction, researching, and modding my equipment. Haven't even touched the outposts side of things, and I usually just end up spending hours exploring trying to uncover more sidequests and blowing-up spacers.

If you've been on the fence and haven't bought it, I would strongly endorse paying the premium, or at least dont wait any longer than the Fall sales that are coming soon (Steam Fall Sale specifically), or if you have an Xbox just sign-up for Game Pass and access Starfield that way. You wont regret it.

Its interesting, I never got into any of the Fallout games before. I have Fallout 4, but I never could quite get into it. I felt like the game got a little stale almost right away, and never quite got what you needed to do with settlement building and all that. Game lost my interest even though I know everyone else loved it.

Starfield has had me hooked from the start. I'm a bit of a space geek to begin with, so it definitely was up my alley, but the ability to customize pretty much everything about your experience, including the ship and which factions you align with that allows you to create a unique gameplay every time you do it. I am probably only halfway through, but I know I'm going to go heavily NG+ on this one (though, I've heard there is a significant payoff and reason to do that), its just really well put together. I had one point in my playthrough yesterday where actions I had taken earlier caused an inevitable path on one of my quests and it allowed me to basically go 'the hell with this' (actual dialogue choice) and just go on a rampage. Its just a fun game to play.

Similar - I know this is going to take multiple times playing through to explore everything. I feel recently that a lot of my dialog discussions have had the [Attack] narrative response more frequently, so something I did earlier has just got me in that position (or maybe its because I'm on the undercover Crimson Fleet quest line, and I'm just expected to be a pirate).

My gameplay from yesterday may or may not have been directly related to it.... lol

I'm trying to avoid the attacking as much as I can, but my persuasion skill has not been leveled-up at all - been way too focused on weapon proficiency, modding, and ship traits.

I started and I want to like it because I like that free flow environment but so many little things are annoying me I can't play for more than an hour.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

You don't need an Xbox to get/use game pass, you can use it for PC games as well.

Deposit whiskey, receive wisdom.

I just bought the dlc for cyberpunk, and need to download the big ass update that they just released. I hear the update makes some significant gameplay changes, enough so to warrant another playthrough.

Just casually waiting for Spider-Man 2...

I'm not sure if it was someone here that recommended it, but I played through Bramble: The Mountain King recently and I found it to be a very fun game. Scenic, simple, lore rich, and engaging. Highly recommend.

My friends and I still goof off in PUBG. For as bad as a game it is, it's still middle adjusting running around needing with folks.

"Nooooooooooo!"
~What happened?
"James Franklin to Virginia Tech...."
~Fuck me......*sigh*
"Oh my God.... They're gonna take all our recruits... like WTF bro...."

Kinda alternating between Starfield and Jedi: Survivor. Still have Tears of the Kingdom on the backburner for whenever time appears
