We've been married about a month and a half now, but I gotta say I think she's a keeper :)

When my wife and I went away for our thirtieth anniversary a few years ago, I told her, "I guess the trial period is just about over." (I said that knowing that she understands my sense of humor. I often tell her "I'm moderately fond of you). She promptly pounded my arm (just because she understands my sense of humor doesn't mean i get away with everything scott-free).
A little later in the day she asked for a Coke when I went into the store. I came out with a Pepsi, and she promptly said, "After thirty years you don't know that I hate Pepsi? The trial period is back on!"
Humor, properly used, is vital to a relationship, but telling (and demonstrating) that you value her is always a winning strategy.

so, I gotta ask. What has it been like to be a TKP user after the paywall went up?
Definitely a bummer not to be able to see/participate in the conversation. I've been a pretty avid commenter at various points over the years.
I still visited the site frequently to at least get the quick hits/headlines though.
