Minnesota at (24) Iowa (Iowa -4.5) - man, it's hard to pick Iowa when I know their offense is laughable but they are solid on defense and Minn is shakey at best.
(13) Ole Miss at Auburn (Miss -6.5) - this is probably a game that Ole Miss stubs their toe but I'm hoping not. They should win fairly comfortably.
(16) Duke at (4) Florida State (F$U -13.5) - nobody respects Duke. I think they're much better than people give them credit for and they will keep it really close, if not winning outright.
OSU is good, but they don't have THAT dude at QB this year. That is going to cost them a game- maybe this one. Ryan Day will have them ready and thinking they are disrespected and Franklin isn't great in these spots. Close game- last possession, IMO. FSU is going to smoke Duke. Norvell will take them seriously.

Drink of the week...I'm not a huge rye fan. In fact I tend to steer clear of them. But this one, Springbrook Straight Adirondack Rye is the smoothest I've tried. Must be the soft mountain water in NY.

In this weeks episode of "Picksburg"....... the storms have passed and the town is getting back on its feet. The volunteers have remained in town to help recapture the animals that escaped from the zoo. They have to focus their efforts on a bull elephant that had been laying waste to the southeast portion of town but is now wounded and vulnerable. The volunteers end up tranking the beast and putting it back in its pen next to the ducks, goats, and buffalo. Meanwhile in another part of the zoo some hawks were mistakenly put in the gopher enclosure and while a few gophers found a golden opportunity to go underground most were spotted and killed under the hawks' eyes. In the commotion, a few rebels snuck into the tiger pen thinking to turn it into a balm that would help their "performance". Unfortunately they were distracted by the cry of a war eagle over head and the tiger was able to maul them. In the adjacent lion pen, zoo employee Brutus was trying to sneak up on the albino lion, but slipped on nuts, cracking his head open. The lion shredded poor Brutus to the delight of the wolverine watching from a nearby cage.
While order is being restored in town, conflict is brewing in the mountains to the west. A group of cowboys have allied with a French military unit known as "les diables bleus"* in an effort to removed a rogue band of Seminole Indians who have bred with local mountaineers. In a fierce battle, where flaming spears and tomahawks chop through the woods, the French trick their opponents into thinking they are fleeing only to lure them into the cowboys crossfire. Buckskin fringe, coonskin caps, and feathers fly in the carnage.
* This is the origin of the Duke Blue Devils mascot. Only a blue blood school like Duke would pick a french army unit as a mascot.

Agree with you on that. That was one of my 3 wrong.
The punt return would have put Iowa up by 4. They probably go for 2 to go up by 6. If they do not get the 2, they do not cover the spread. I had Minnesota, so that is what I was hoping for. Until the "fair catch" ruling.
