WEEK 8 RECAP
We almost had nice things for the second week in a row but, no.
Meanwhile, it's status quo with Harrinpa keeping
ahead of the pack like the Millennium Falcon in an asteroid field (my TIE Fighter hit a 1-5 space rock last week).
This week, we've got Saturday MACtion coming at you! So, obviously I had a lot of great games to choose from.

I really want to unsee that last picture, but I can't.
Just concentrate on the first image. Especially the person second from the left, in my humble opinion.
Pretty sure the one on the far left is Brendan Fraser in drag...
I don't think this was the solution anyone was looking for but roll tide
He's no longer thinking about the Tennessee trash truck in the other pic!
I consider myself to be a semi-intelligent individual (at least most of the time), so I can see both sides of an argument.....unfortunately, that means both of those images are a mental slide-show now.
I could not be more proud that my post created this beautiful thread of comments. To round it out here's a classic YouTube video that, IMHO, everyone should watch at least once a year.

Game is actually Western AT Eastern, with WMU -1.5 on what I'm seeing............I know CBS has it correct, but wanted to clarify.

Whoops! Leg for a good catch.

Bourbon of the week: It's my youngest son's 21st on Saturday. As a leukemia survivor, we will lift a toast!! And if you know my name, there's a reason why this is so special. They hadn't made this since prohibition, but McNeely picked it up, made another batch, and it won double gold in San Fran this year.

Happy birthday, congratulations, and here's to many more for you all!
Congrats Brent! Lift one up for me!
I now understand why the price and how it won double gold in San Fran. Tasty.
COME AND GET ME
The producers of "Picksburg" have hired monkeys to throw feeces at a wall in an effort to improve their picks, but the show must go on......The Volunteers have over stayed their welcome in Picksburg after failing to corral the elephant, but on their way out of town they do manage to save a bluetick coonhound from a pack of wild cats that strayed from their normal turf behind the basketball court. They however do not come to the aid of a bulldog caught in the jaws of a gator.
Meanwhile, some town folks claim the high school French teacher has been possessed by a devil. The church brings in a Cardinal, who attempts to exorcise the devil but fumbles his cross allowing the devil to escape into a sun worshipper named Sparky. After being possessed, Sparky walks into a known "Cougar" bar and after several inappropriate advances the ladies in the bar escort Sparky out back and teach him some manners.
Outside of town the local mountaineers continue to cause trouble. When their antics disrupt the annual renaissance festival, the knights have had enough and take matters into their own hands. They burn the mountaineers couches and stills as a lesson. Some western horse handlers try to flee in a Bronco only to be run down by eastern bird handlers in an AMC Eagle with 1.5 more horsepower.
It's not an eagle, but my brain went straight to this:

Saved (barely) from an 0- for week :( ( thanks Tenneseee)
Same, just when I thought I had an outside shot at making a run.
