Boyd is there and yet most people said Boyd was worse than Logan at almost every drill.
It's just an excuse for Gruden to talk about Sammy Watkins.

LT has more potential upside but Boyd has been the superior quarterback. I think Logan will succeed if the right team takes an interest, but I don't think Boyd getting the nod was a slight to him.
Almost as surprising, Mettenberger didn't make the list either. I thought he would have been there over Lynch/Garroppolo/Boyd
Isn't it a little too soon for him to be in action since he tore his ACL?
That could be part of it, but you'd think they'd have him for the interview/discussion of mechanics parts. But maybe they didn't bring him if he couldn't perform the whole shebang.

True, but I think he underwent his surgery a lot earlier the Mettenberger. I think Mettenberger might have waited until the new year, and I dont think Murray did. So if that's the case he's further along in rehab.

Meh...I don't think it's a big loss for LT. I've never seen the appeal of Chucky. He was a good coach, but is more of an actor now. Pretty sure he declared Jamarcus Russell a can't miss prospect in 2007...so there's that...

for Logan personally- it would do nothing for his development as a QB.
For exposure and helping his draft stock?- it could only help ,not sure how much.

I wouldn't even say that it would help his actual stock. It would elevate him in the sports writers world but I doubt any real draft scout cares if he gets asked to a glorified talk show when they just had the chance to sit down an interview him last week.

Aaron Murray would love to be Matt Stafford. Stafford was #1, Murray will be a mid-round pick at best. He's barely 6'0" and is coming of knee surgery
I was comparing him in terms of a skill set, he's good but just can't get it done. But yeah stafford is getting paid for mediocre performances, the lions need help and a lot of it

I didn't make it too long either. Actually, I wonder if there's a way to see how many downvotes you've gotten? I'm kind of curious since I've made a few jokes that a few people didn't really like.
Had Winston not had the season he had, I would have voted for Murray for Heisman. As far as college QBs go (not talking about pro potential), he's probably the best QB I've seen in years.
I don't see what LT3 has to gain from the Gruden's QB Camp, aside from a little exposure. LT3 is better off preparing for Tech's pro-day in mid-march and making sure he has some good receivers to throw to.
Ok this REALLY pisses me off! Another reason to hate ESPN, I really wanted to see Gruden interview Logan. Why does ESPN hate us because we have a couple down years?
How about we don't piss and moan about the "obvious snub" considering we know essentially zero details of how these players were chosen?
It would've been cool to see, but I don't care that much. It's not like an ESPN special is going to help LT's draft stock, every team with any interest will interview him and come with their own opinion of him.

Why all the ESPN hate? They don't care about VT b/c we haven't been relevant in 2 seasons. They didn't care much about Mich St much either until this year. They're part of the media; it's just the way the game is played.
Good comment on the espn hate. If we want to be more respected...win more games! If we're undefeated, they will have to talk about us.
They were also talking about our defense in the beginning of the season a lot. They even said it was the best for a couple weeks. Then when we got ranked, they actually were talking about us going tot he ACCCG and maybe being able to slow down FSU's offense.
Then Duke happened. But to me it seemed the damage wasn't that devastating because sometimes they focused on Duke being good than us being bad. Then Boston College happened. After that they were pretty much done with us.
VT is a regional team. Nationally there are much bigger headlines from schools with a much larger and national fan base. We got in the spotlight from poking our heads in the national picture when we weren't supposed to belong. In 2011 there were MNC talks. The past two years we've been average. We get covered as an average team would.
Probably better that Logan doesn't have to waste his time with Jon Gruden, anyways.

LT3 will NOT appear on Gruden's QB Camp. However, Mark Leal will be there.
Logan will make it in the pros, whether drafted first round or signed as a free agent. He's no Druckenmiller. Simply, he's going to make it, and missing some schmucks camp will have NO bearing at all on that.
I'm surprised they didn't go with LT simply because he would make for more interesting TV than several of these guys.
