Don't want to speculate too much but a few observations:
-the "stickers" on his chest are for an EKG which is pretty standard to be performed in the ED. Most ED docs say any complaint above the waist gets an EKG.
-I do not see him on a heart monitor or "tele" as its commonly called. If there were a concern for arrhythmia that would be absolutely expected.
-he appears to be in a standard ED room (likely Peds based on the Moana sticker on the wall)..he may have been moved there after being treated in another area though
Whatever the case, best wishes for him and his health, everything else is much less important.

Good to hear he is doing okay. Heck, he could be at Uva and it would be good to hear someone is healthy. Life is more than football.
