SBNation says that Texas Tech redshirt-sophomore QB Michael Brewer is considering a transfer and will visit VT this weekend. What do you guys think? Looks like we might have quite a QB competition this spring.

It seems like the spirit of competition is spilling over into threads. Now, we not only have a QB competition, we also have a "QB competition thread" competition.

Hey, more competition the better. It gives us a better chance of a star coming out of the pack to lead us back to greatness.
This is beginning to remind me of UVA. I think we are going to be the Greyhound bus station of QB. Always one coming in and one going out. We are going to need 4 more centers just to get snap practice.
What Im surprised about and a little wary of is the willingness of the athletes to enter such an unsure situation. It's great to think they are confident of starting, but real life factors like familiarity with the program are leaving new guys at an obvious disadvantage. Having so many QBs just isnt a good sign that there is one with obvious superior talent that would scare the others off. It is wide open but it can only be so wide open. Leal is the guy until someone knocks him out, simply based on being with the program for 1+ years.
