Boston College DB Khari Johnson has been ejected for Targeting pic.twitter.com/NLR14bIf3X— NCAAF Nation (@NCAAFNation247) November 17, 2023
Yep, I think that'll do it.

Dude clearly had a Shittsburgh Tinder date he needed to get to ASAP
Glad we already beat both those teams. That was a classic acc coastal rock fight imo
OMFG
WTF was he even trying to do there? Was that supposed to be a bone jarring hit to knock the ball loose? He looked like he was playing soccer and going for a header.
Torpedoes away!
Werner von Braun would be proud of that launch
Finally, an example of "classic, textbook" targeting.
Which makes me almost surprised they did not waive it off as bad and random as the officiating is on targeting.
The eyes closed, scrunched hands combo is perfect.
In seriousness, did he go in thinking he had a play at the ball, panic when he realized he didn't, and decide to just slam into the dude? That's the weirdest hit I've ever seen.
Na that's just givin' him the business
My mans out here trying to honor Sean Taylor the wrong way
ALSO Targeting.
Nah, clearly led with its dorsal fin.
It's still forceful contact to the head and neck area though
And the fisherman was clearly defenseless. He didn't have his rod in hand.
He needs to get his peripheral vision checked.
That's an unusual state for the male, human species.
I'm interpreting dorsal fin as "part of the crown of helmet" on a fish.
That BC player was frustrated by this...
Couldn't stand looking at those seats a minute longer...
Night games aren't for everyone.
Pitt football

We literally had bigger crowds during COVID
Just barely more fans than a LOLUVa spring game.
If you get beat with no one watching, did it really happen?
From UVa's experience, I'd say the answer is yes, definitely.
Day drinking for my own double post
Day drinking because what the hell, it's Friday and I scored another bottle of Weller Antique 107 today!
Mine is possible because I actually got to take my RDO which is a rare occurrence these days.
.... Run-Dance Option?
Regular Day Off on a compressed schedule...but your suggestion brings to mind CornFu offensive playcalling
That sounds more like a Ralph-Deuce Option.
He looked like a dolphin jumping out of the water on that hit
That's some headcanon right there.
Remember earlier in the year when some were saying we needed a coach more like Prime, or that the Colorado turnaround would redefine how new coaches turn over rosters in collegiate football?
Started 3-0, have won 1 game since
Looks like he got his new luggage on the street.
Don't worry he's here.

But is that a good thing?
Couldn't have happened to a nice man. But his personal kids have looked good for the NFL scouts with the higher exposure.
Hard to pull for miami and clemson....
But easy to pull against louisville and uncheat.
I thought we needed UNCheat to win today?
Yes
My bad.
I will pull for unc to lose and try to ignore the fact the other team is clemson and dabo looks like Grover the muppet's human form:
Yeah...you can root against UNCheat now.
We talk about it every year, almost every game, but these ACC officiating crews are straight garbage. SMFH...
Not only are they horribly inconsistent with the calls they make, they can't even make a call most of the time - i.e., the shear amount of replays on obvious calls where an official is right on top of the play is mind boggling.
This is what happens when Ron Cherry is your conference's assistant (to the) supervisor of football officials.
Drew Allar looks like a dude.
Performs like a dud.
Not sure he's recoverable at this point.
The officials must be drunk in this Miami game. Just blatantly bad officiating and missing calls and spots and timing errors over and over
I think it's becoming abundantly clear that the ACC has an agenda. Miami, as much as I hate them, wrecking things for the ACCCG by beating both FSU (last week they got absolutely hosed by the officials) and L'ville would create a scenario that would make the ACCCG far less appealing from a national standpoint.
Officials literally gave that whole drive to Louisville. Gave them multiple phantom seconds back, extra yards on spots; free first downs off of questionable penalties. Hate Miami but boy they're getting jobbed
BOOLA BOOLA!!!
For a moment there, I thought miami might actually do us a favor. But, of course they'll let us down. They always do
Can't really get into this command center deal. I feel like one camera should always be the sideline cam and one should primarily be the skycam. They change them around too much.
Miami gonna fucking blow this of course.
And there it is. Thanks assholes.
Told ya
And a dumbass thug penalty at the end too. Fuck Miami.
And now another one to blow great field position
Yup. Dipshits.
Now we don't have to worry about it. Let's just play our game and get bowl eligible.
We had zero business being in the ACCCG, but it sure would have been a goacc moment! 🤣
On the bright side ... Bulldog, bulldog bow, wow, wow!
Yale 23 Harvard 18.
The Yale Bulldogs are Ivy League Champions for the second consecutive season 🏆🏆
Armstrong staring down Concepcion pre snap and during the play and were five yards off not jamming
The one good thing today...
Go App State!!!!
Jerry Kills Aggies just destroyed Auburn.
Man I bet the aubbie message boards DEFCON 11 right about now
SEC Shorts is gonna be lit
You know what would be the most Auburn thing to do next week right? Right?
They host Alabama on Saturday at 3:30 as two-touchdown underdogs.
That would be amazing, yet somehow not wholly unexpected.
Down goes JMU
A beaut after game day and their pandering to let them bowl. A little fesh humble pie served by the masters from Boone.
Real barn burner (pun intended) at the end of 3 in Iowa.
Illinois 10 - Iowa 9.
Oh, and Iowa has a safety for 2 of those 9.
By the way. Florida State is down 13-0 to North Alabama.
Jordan Travis with a really bad gruesome injury too for FSU. Football aside, I hate that for the guy.
Yeah but it looked like they were already down 13-0 when that happened (I don't have cw so I'm going off the ESPN highlight)
They were
Yeah... that injury was gruesome for sure. Hope he recovers well. He's a great kid.
Hate it for the kid, hate it even more that is gives a bump to Loservilles chances at winning ACCCG.
Did they start all their third stringers but put their starters in after going down?
58-13 final
Virginia beats Duke. Next week is going to be a tough outing for us.
Maybe next week Marve will try covering Malik Washington??
You know, since not focusing on Concepcion worked less than stellar this week.
Colandrea just guaranteed a UVA win and "After this game versus Tech, after we beat Virginia Tech, this program is going to shoot up and everyone in the country is going to know about us."
Someone needs to teach the freshman about bulletin board material. ..and maybe pragmatism? I don't think a 3 win team beating a 5 win team would put the country on notice
We still in their heads.
You have to give the kid this much- he may not have brains, but boy is he dumb.
Yeah, I really don't see us winning next week. UVA is a lot better than most on here are giving them credit for...as much as I hate to say that.
They're better than their record.
I'm pretty sure most people on here (at least the ones paying attention) realize that.
They'll be a challenge, but that outcome not a given.
I like being wrong, sometimes!
Iowa hasn't scored two TDs in the first 3 quarters since Sept 16th
I have bet the Iowa under this entire season and it's been the easiest money I've ever made
Colorado a dumpster fire
The comedy of how bad they were on Friday cannot be underscored. Shurmur has continued his uninspired playcalling from when he was in the NFL. The offense is clearly one QB deep and the Buffs look like the Hokies did last year in terms of penalties and undisciplined play.
Hope the fire continues and I can bring the marshmallows.
Just read ESPN's top-8 predictions for this week's CFP rankings and there was a line in there about FSU and IF Jordan Travis misses significant playing time. I'm guessing whoever wrote that didn't see the play, and I haven't seen anything official but that looked like a Joe Theismann / Alex Smith-level leg injury... Travis has a long road ahead and will be fortunate to be back on any field in time for a '24 season opener.
Yeah that leg looked bad. NCAA needs to ban that hip drop tackle, every time I see it I feel like the tackler was intentionally trying to hurt the tacklee.
I don't remember the Dak Prescott injury but Reddit was all over comparing the two. Dak managed to recover so here's hoping Travis does too.
I am not a Dr. ,but it looked like as clean a break as you could have. And in some cases that is better than other types of injuries. IDK... But I certainly wish him the very best, he's a great competitor.

Hit him with the boxing glove first....
When you came for the Game but you got the Cock.
I just saw a basic sack in the Florida State game called "roughing the passer". The QB didn't even throw the ball, so I'm not sure how the ref called that. Normally, it's what they call a "tackle".
ACC refs are a different breed.
Didn't see it but could it have possibly been a hit to the head (not targeting)?
Mike Norvell probably should have punched the ref cause I don't think this is going to go well for FSU.
